I don’t like the fake vent things, or whatever they are supposed to be, they spoil the clean lines of the Maverick, the Bronco ones look better but could do without them altogether.
I’d vote for some body color blanking inserts (I’ll take a pair in Atlas Blue!).
I guess if we have to have them...
I know that Tesla brake lights illuminate when in regen mode even when the brake pedal is not used, it annoys following drivers as the brake lights keep flashing on and off when going down hill.
We should be able to check if we put something on the bed cover to reflect the light from the CHMSL...
Is anyone aware of this feature? I don't see it mentioned in the owners handbook:
The EPAS system has a Pull Drift Compensation (PDC) feature to assist drivers in compensating for variation in road and driving conditions. The feature adjusts power assist offset by reducing the steering wheel...
Once a battery OCV has dropped below 10 volts it is considered dead and will not recover to it's full capacity with 'normal' charging (some specialist chargers claim that they can recover a 'dead' battery).
Your OEM battery may have gone dead during shipping - doors left agar, transmissions left...
I'm still waiting for my hybrid Maverick but I do the same thing with the manual function on regular auto trans, manually downshift when slowing and maximize engine ORFCO mode. I'm getting 6 MPG over the EPA urban figures with my EcoSport.
Is it possible that this is an automatic upload/download? Do you have the little up/down arrows near the top right of the screen?
I don't have my Maverick yet but the EcoSport I am driving has SYNC and there is a number 4 next to the arrows - I guess this means there have been 4...
Grew up with the original Mini, the 'old' guys in the shop didn't want to work on this weird car with the engine in sideways - I got all the Mini work.
Does anyone know what the AC compressor supply voltage is? It has 2 wire high voltage connection so it's not 3-phase. I know it doesn't matter - I'm just curious  .
According to the owners handbook turning off traction control does not turn off stability control that also uses the brakes, does the driver notice the stability control working?
Thanks for the information, as I'll probably won't get a chance to try my Maverick on a race track it's good to hear...
Thanks Colin, I'm not planning on messing with any of it, just want to get an idea of how it's all connected, where the sensors are located etc. I guess there is a DC/DC (450V/12V) convertor under the hood and the transmission control module converts the 450V DC to 3-phase AC for the MCUs but I...
The problem I see is that if it gets bumped it will damage the painted metal and be a much more expensive repair compared with just replacing the plastic part.
