The expression "void your warranty" is thrown around a lot. There is nothing you can really do to void your warranty. You can do things which may not be covered, but it won't patently void it.
The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act is what controls here. It is not your responsibility to prove you used...
Make sure you have a good data plan, this is the best bet. Sirius knows satellite is dying with how good cell coverage is. That's why they push the app so hard.
No, I get it why she has had them stolen despite these. That's my point. Once they were under there with power tools, if doesn't take much longer to cut the cables than the initial theft. It's not like smash and grab for cars where the deterent of nothing visible is enough. These devices aren't...
I've heard it said in suburban and urban areas it can be good to leave your car unlocked. Don't leave anything of value in it, don't leave the key in it obviously. Most of the time thieves are looking for things to steal, not to steal the car. They frequently try the handle first to see if it's...
I've had issues with android auto disconnecting phone from car during a call with a cable issue. It seems like it screws up the phone interface. Android auto handles the phone interaction (despite being Bluetooth), and seems to not like bumping back and forth mid call sometimes. I'm betting...
Replace your cable. That is the first trouble shoot. Then make sure software is up to date both devices. Reset your Bluetooth connections, and possibly reset your audio system. Most likely cable or phone, not the trucks audio.
There may be some dealers assuming stock orders are coming up. They may then be willing to put a stock order in for you. But there is nothing stopping them from marking it up except the agreement you reach with them (technically that's true even if they do a custom order for you).

Sounds like you had to break through to a real decision maker, but once you did it got resolved fairly.
One question, if I recall they had botched up the install in part by cutting off some areas on the back. How did they fix that? Cover over it, new panels, or was it not as bad as it looked?
But it never belonged to you. It belongs to you once you sign the contract and make your earnest payment. Even then it can revert back if you don't adhere to the contract and/or financing doesn't come through. It's not theft, because they didn't take something you own yet.
Right after I closed on my house about 7 years ago, we go to walk into our new (to us) home. We go in through the rear gate. A salesman with ADT had gone into the back yard through the rear gate to put a business card on the glass door back there (this is the door closest to the garage so...
The problem with trying to recover damages is proving they violated the terms and conditions. They always have so many notes, gotchas, etc. that they point to in order to CYA. Did you drink beer on the second Sunday of the month? No Maverick for you! Even if you can prove they acted in...
