Yep. The MSRP on my 2002 Explorer XLT was around $30,000 back then. Twenty years later my XLT Maverick has a similar MSRP with a lot better MPG and HP.

Sounds like you never warm the engine up enough and the oil life algorithm is taking that into account. Fuel dilution in the oil.

Thanks for posting about the battery life of the add on keypad. I've read a lot of posts that complain about not being able to replace the battery in those units that never stated how long the original battery lasted. 10 years may be just fine for some folks.
