I have a Bestek 300 watt pure sine wave inverter that I can plug into a 12v power port. Probably can only pull 200 watts max on a 15 amp 12v circuit but that's ok. Cost is around $50.
I plan on adding a 12volt power port in the bed of my Maverick. I could then plug in the inverter if I need...
I agree. The inverter is low powered. The 12 volt bed connections that come with all Mavericks can be used to power things like lights and DC compressor refrigerators. I'm not sure how useful a 400 watt modified sine wave inverter outlet is.
I agree. I bought a AstroAI 23qt ($208) a couple of weeks ago and the 110V brick runs the fridge at a constant 14.3 volts which is a bit higher than battery voltage on a Odyssey AGM that I hooked up to it for testing. I can tell when the compressor kicks on with the Odyssey because the voltage...
A 12 volt compressor fridge is the best for camping. The Maverick owners manual states to not use the 400 watt inverter to run one. Probably because it's a cheap modified sine wave inverter. If you want to run a 12 volt fridge in the bed add a 12 volt power plug using one of the accessory...
I would cancel them and any other accessory that you can order from the parts department. Even if they are not a constraint now they could be later on and cause a problem.
