Hybrid?
I'll have sold it and moved on long before needed brake work.
I don't buy that 2-3 year fluid replacement is required either - not humid enough here.
Unless there are specifics of the newer AWD hybrid that you really want, I'd keep your current truck. The cost to upgrade will likely never be paid off in gas savings, even with today's high prices.
The price differential could be used for some nice upgrades to your current truck and/or camper...

Look who is focusing on oil and gas for short term profits and who is planning on a fossil fuel free future.
I think it can vary by state, but yes there are "Speed Limit" signs and "Maximum Speed" signs in California, and technically mean different things - although 99% of drivers are clueless to the sign, let alone the difference.

sometimes you have more of one or the other, adjust your driving habits accordingly, but please never put others at risk with your decision - that's just being an a-hole
Say I spent about 20 hours for dealing with the ACC install - a Lariat was about $10,000 more than my XL at the time (plus I did not want fake leather seats) - that's $500 an hour. A bit more than I get paid at work.
I also could have easily afforded a Lariat, I just didn't think it was a good...

Take a chain from the tow hitch, wrap around a big tree and gun it.
Straighten it out oakie style and forgot about tires lasting very long, but maybe you'll have a truck for around the farm?
Be sure to video it and maybe you'll get enough views online to buy a new/used...
Exactly why someone shouldn't buy a totaled vehicle on COpart thinking they got a deal and it'll be an easy fix.
Same thing with Real Estate - there are no deals - if it was a deal, someone else would have bought it and flipped it already!!!
