  1. Weird things I learned about the recirculating air feature

As you say, worth a shot; ya never know. As for your query, have never once yet had recirc shut itself off, but then again the longest stretch I generally drive, timewise, is maybe 15 or 20 minutes. I do prefer driving with the driver's window open an inch or so - whether or not that is a...
  2. Weird things I learned about the recirculating air feature

Had a stray minute to bop on over to the garage. On the instrument cluster screen: Settings -- Vehicle -- Remote Start -- Climate Control Options there to toggle between are Auto and Last Setting.
  3. Weird things I learned about the recirculating air feature

Have it on my XL. Root around in the options of the instruments cluster screen (the one you need to use the controls on the steering wheel to thumb through). Don't exactly recall precisely where it is located, but it is there.
  4. Weird things I learned about the recirculating air feature

Curious as to whether your climate control is set to Auto or to Manual within the options on the instrument cluster and if changing that setting results in any difference in recirc functionality.
  5. Don't drive like you stole it. 53.4 mpg with Hybrid

    Case in point: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/trip-numbers-all-over-the-map.22211/
  6. Tremor package unavailable

In the quest for precision I ought to have said "have since been locked."
  7. Tremor package unavailable

Because order banks for '23s are closed and major changes (to trim or to engine or to limited production models such as Tremor or Black Appearance, for example) were locked at the same time. Also see...
  8. Trip numbers all over the map

Allow me to initially state have owned an XL hybrid for just shy of seven months now and don't drive all that much, passing a grand total of 400 miles since I first picked up the truck as of yesterday. Have let it sit idle in the garage for two or even three weeks at a stretch and, although...
  9. 15k markup on 22 lariat hybrid

Bet with a few hours of robust dickering you can browbeat them down to accepting a flat $47k. 🙃

  14. Long Island NY - Maverick Meet Up - October 2022

As I'm some 6000 miles distant the chances of my attendance are nil. Hoping those who do show up have a ball.
  15. Rover King Campers?

From the exterior looks like a prop for identifying a police or prison vehicle from a low budget future dystopia film made for showing in drive-ins during the 1970s. 😬
  16. She's home

Pull the release strap, raise the back seat as vertical as it will go, release the strap. To lower it, pull the release strap while seat is in upright position, lower the seat, then release the strap to latch it in place.
  17. Poor Man's Bed Lighting

There's a cargo light (on-off switch for it next to the gas tank door release) above the cab's rear window, but that doesn't do squat if one has a tonneau cover in the closed position. A single dedicated bed light on the inside of the bed, adjacent to the tailgate, is a higher end option...
  18. Poor Man's Bed Lighting

Well aware of the pigtail connector, what it is for and how to use it. Simply feel no need to light the bed like the Las Vegas strip. Only need to discern what if anything is tucked away there; no intention of performing surgery in the bed. Bonus is I have a removable powerful flashlight or...
  19. Need simple bed light

No fuss solution, has worked quite well and has remained firmly magnetically in place for the sic month since cobbled it together.: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/poor-mans-bed-lighting.12636/ Lots of other posts here (plus a DIY from Ford) on installing LED strips if you...
