First vehicle I bought new (50+ years ago) was custom ordered from a Ford-Lincoln-Mercury dealer and took about 4 months to arrive.
When picked up the Maverick in mid-March of this year the lot at the dealership was nearly bare. On the showroom floor was a lone Bronco, with prominent SOLD...
Definitely insist the tire pressure is reduced from shipping pressure to spec (see sticker on driver's door jamb). Without delving too deep into the obvious (headlights, taill lights and wipers), confirm all power windows operate smoothly up and down, that antenna stalk has been screwed into...
We do know from credible sources it is a major constrained item that will hold up scheduling and build, IIRC somewhere in the low single digits as a percentage of availability for being chosen for production.
If you no longer have need of it, why not avoid the machinations of private sale involved altogether by letting it go to find a home with another happy owner? Should the dealership impose a substantial mark-up, the onus is on them.
Water bottles? Fooey. That's what the cupholders are for. Stumbled across these catch-all bins on Amazon. As the floor of the front door pockets is not flat, things stored there can either be tippy or rattle around, however these little bins are long enough to rest on what protrusions there are...
Ford Pass (and some other stuff) uses Ford's proprietary modem, which will still be there and functionally connected to the mother ship (as it were) regardless of any third-party hotspot capability.
Only ones readily remember were 0% for 36 months and 0.9% for 48.
However if you choose to take advantage of price protection (which is keyed to date of order as opposed to date of sale) and the dealer checks off that option in smart Vincent application showing on his/her screen the rates in...
Auto hold and auto stop/start are two different things. The first can be readily switched on or off at the driver's discretion, the second cannot without an aftermarket gizmo.
Five questions.
#1 & #2: Real world numbers have never been released. Guesstimations abound, but their accuracy is decidedly iffy. Numbers reported as built year to date and in 2021 as well are available but whether or not those reflect total production (retail + stock + fleet + non-U.S.) is...
Presuming you haven't disabled it in the productivity screen options, lane keeping on/off (for Mavericks so equipped) is operated via a button on the end of the turn signal stalk. A visual marker shows on the productivity screen when it is on.
Not one to go overboard with an array of elite protectants, but not one to pooh-pooh rudimentary cosmetic upkeep either.
Outlined my choices here:

Being we're in an extended period of drought, auto washing is frowned upon so...
If you choose to go with price protection on '22 builds, that is keyed to date of order and includes rate protection for financing in effect on that date.
Should you not opt for price protection (perhaps there will appear some last minute incentive making things more attractive to your...
Straight from Ford's site about Maverick and updates:
After installation is finished, it will take a few ignition cycles for the software to be updated. There will be a temporary message on the top bar stating “Update installation complete” when it is done.
