Okay dokey, pix (such as they are), as requested.
Top one is the cigarette lighter receptacle with a double USB adapter inserted. Right angled plug in bottom USB port, dust protection cap in the currently unused top port.
Bottom pic is where the light thing is mounted. Could have done a more...
Maybe overkill techwise, but there are USB extensions with in-line on/off switches. One example.
No pix (will see if I can crank some out later on). As stated, at least in my case, the little light goes off at the same time as do the USB transfer ports. If that's a peculiarity of some sort...
Moot when spending points but if shelling out cash those bolts are expensive! Seem to recall the person behind the parts department desk quoting a cost of seven bucks and change. Each. Come in a pack of four.
Pretty commonly known but just in case shall mention the bed cubby fits in either...
At least in my '22 hybrid XL, the power to the 12v dashboard receptacle shuts off simultaneously with the power to the dashboard USB ports. Have had a similar product in place for about 6 or so months (offered in either USB-A or USB-C versions).
Didn't want to lose a data transfer port by way...
May or may not appeal to you aesthetically but have had luck with them sticking.

Mentioned in other threads. A bit of rigamarole, but does the trick.
To remove that 'Press OK" nag screen:
With engine shut off, buckle all the non-driver seat belts and leave them buckled.
Get in and buckle yourself up as the driver.
Start the engine.
Voila. No nag screen.
Can confirm...
On my '22 XL the ones on the front of cab panel (including the 12v 'cigarette lighter' slot) stay on when the engine is shut off until the driver door is opened or for a set period if door is not opened. Never actually timed it - maybe about 10 minutes as a guesstimate.
The ones behind the...
Order bank still active in Canada. Dunno about order bank status in any of the other countries south of the border where Mavericks are available for sale.
USB A to USB C adapters (or vice-versa) are fairly inexpensive.
I have no use for the USB C port in the front of the cab, so plugged a C to A adapter into that port and popped a flash drive with music on it into the adapter.
Don't forget you can also adjust the tailgate to a halfway up position. Did that when I recently purchased a new front door at a big box home improvement store. Was even able to keep the hard tri-fold tonneau cover fully closed while driving home.
In theory any number below 80% not sold to the customer who originally ordered triggers negative strictures upon the dealership from Ford.
Stressing the in theory part of the equation.
Shortcut workaround is to, when the truck is turned off, fasten all the seatbelts (except driver's) and leave them that way. Haven't seen the nag notification since did that, that is to say so long as the driver is also buckled up.
If you carry passengers, just remember to re-latch their belts...
