Hybrids (and ICEs) work best with CVTs. The entire idea of changing gears is outdated.
The motors in electric cars drive the wheels directly. Many cars today don't even have transmissions.
There's really no reason for a new car today to have 3 pedals.
AFAIK the BedRug is just polypropylene carpet on top of some molded foam. I would think that an upholstery shop can make it for you if they/you can source the materials. A shop specializing in convertible soft tops might be the place. Happy hunting.
We have a Leaf as a commuter car and a Tacoma for truck things and road trips. Would recommend going full electric if you can charge it at home. We had some range anxiety at first, but 200-230 miles on a charge is plenty.
You are right. The full BedRug is not yet available for the Mav and I'm not sure if it ever will. FWIW I ordered my Mav with DIBL and am planning to get the BedRug mat. I just hope it fits. I had the full BedRug in my old Ram and it was great. Highly recommend it.
I've seen 2 in the Gilbert area. A white one and one velocity blue, both FX4. The last time I was in Scottsdale, I saw an Aventador and a Bentayga in less than half a mile of each other. You're more likely to see a $500K car than a $30K car.
Assuming cutting is necessary because your intercooler is more than twice as thick as stock. Curious to know how thick you could go without requiring cuts.
Looks great and the numbers seem promising. TYVM for your contributions to this community.
Yes. The only size that will fit is 17x7 in 5x108. 18" doesn't have the correct bolt pattern and the others are too small to clear the brakes. You don't need spacers with +38 offset. It's the same as stock.
Ordered pretty much the same thing in mid November. Called the marketing team earlier this week and they said I should be scheduled sometime in the next month. I am priority 19 and have the Lux package with DIBL. There is hope.
Most (all?) DMVs limit the number of cars a private party can sell in a calendar year. I know that the limit in California is 6, but it can vary. Arizona requires private party auto sales to be notarized. This is the main reason that questionable flippers never register the cars in their own name.
Got an email from Ford to let me know they've preapproved me. I did not apply for anything and there are no inquiries on my credit report. Just thought I would share as something to look out for if you plan on financing through Ford.
