In Production vs SIBL

I know SIBL has been a hold up for awhile now, but does that apply to vehicles already in production? My XL Eco has been in production since 12/13. I’m wondering if the SIBL or chip shortage is holding it up. Dealer hasn’t said anything.

AFAIK, in production means that the parts needed for your build have already been procured.
