Got some bad news for ya.
1st - 3 months is nothing. That merely proves out you didn't get a faulty battery, which is good. (which true could happen, but not often anyway)
2nd - Both the ACCM and ABS updates are for intermittent battery draining events - which it doesn't sound like you had...
Ditto.
I've also had TSB's in the past that says if it is indeed an issue, the work or part or some aspect of it is free. Likely because Manufacturer knew there was a likely problem - like batch of hardware with bad quality - but it may hold up for vast majority.
Or to avoid a recall on a...
Well - we need rest of the story after that testing.
Where's Paul!
Engineers - This hardware lasted this long in simulation without an issue.
Number crunchers - We can do a cheaper one then no problem.
We can use cheaper or fewer clips for assembly.
My point exactly. Or some module/system dealing with that effect. But modules with means to make a noise - hmmm.
Which made me curious for the other speeds where the beeping was noticed.
Now I'm wondering if those noticing the engagement on slowing down - have ever noticed the other speeds with...
(side point - those 25/26MY turkey's get up to 15% power and can remain in EV mode, I get 10%! that would help so much in my driving scenarios for better mpg. I don't even think the increased overall motor power would be noticed much, but that stupid 5%, yes)
Nothing here to see - keep moving...
Just be ready for the sound of a very high RPM engine every time you touch the brakes, if indeed steep/long enough.
Unless in Low mode, in which case it will already be maxed out if more brake is needed.
Max regen happens when you get into the pads.
It was very disconcerting to me for the Hill...
Should be.
I have some bumpy roads that if I'm pressed close to the 10% line a bump in Normal will push me over and ICE turns on. Because my foot pushed the pedal just that extra bit with the jolt.
If in Eco, it doesn't happen.
This is noticeable especially because it's a flattish road I could...
Generic glow in the dark tape that was correct width - did the verticals as a test.
And now kind of like the comments as they glow and people ask what it means.
Means: dot-dot, dot-dot-dot, dot.
Or: I, S, E in morse code.
Or 2, 3, 1.
Or I have no idea.
Any parking areas that are darkish - they...
There is a change to the mapping of the Go pedal between the modes.
You can feel that difference under ICE power too.
I don't think that's what's being talked about.
Ice is even more, "spongy"?
Because in my case the Go pedal was pressed the same % (that's a scanner PID), while the power back...
@Glen Baker LLC - I noticed yours has cutouts for the extra speaker with B&O system - right?
Default cutout - or had to order?
@Dave O - I noticed yours does not, and with a Lariat you do have that extra speaker - right?
Notice a difference in sound when not rocking it loudly?
Any option for...
That would be an interesting service order to see - or if a TSB number to share.
If they included it as separate line item.
They could have just put it under "updated modules" - though I'd think a TSB link would allow warranty payment for it.
Other poster said they could duplicate that when fast enough.
Just sounds like it thinks the key is still in the ignition maybe even still running.
Like even after the rear camera update, if I go into reverse quick enough while the screen is still doing it's thing - rear view takes even longer...
Since 25/26 have battery spec's that are entered - that relearn is probably a resistance test to decide how much it can charge safely as battery ages. Maybe an amp test to see how close it is to the logged values of new battery.
Or maybe Ford realized that for a user-replaceable item - very few...
He started this testing/solution with a new battery.
As Finnster tested with a just charged battery.
Battery has to be in good enough shape the BMS is even willing to attempt 92% SOC and reach it.
I wouldn't be shocked if Finnster's battery can't hold that charge level.
Sounds like it was NOT...
So unlike the human body - where you run it at altitude and then get a performance gain when you go to lower elevations, don't go lower with your full tank and expect to impress until you refill.
Just to slow the AC down - so you can have more of the engine to yourself.
Just gotta press her harder to get more action.
Not sure if you are more hot and bothered because of less AC, or because .... never mind.
