They listened to something and went the exact opposite direction!
Now the truck can turn the HVAC system on, which means AC too.
And "button" pushed at that, so actually lit!
I guess that's good - don't try to hide it anymore.
I'm betting the dash vents not actually closing is because of...
That is what the math is based on, for amount of fuel left.
For the mpg to use with it - that's a rolling average of some chunk of miles. Haven't track figures well enough to figure it out.
And I've had plenty of times where it's obvious some past poor mpg was used for that DTE and I went way...
That's pretty good at dealership then.
My mom goes to like Tires Plus or Shore for her big checks because she doesn't want to bother me - and it's a tad more than that, but includes oil/filter change.
Of course they always find things.
That she turns down.
Then I get to have fun.
The scanner PID for fuel tank quantity states the testing is ONLY done within the range of 30-85%. Unless the Maverick is considered a car. (who said that!)
There will be no aborts or misreads - as it's not even going to attempt it.
Someone mentioned tank temp before, now, not 72 outside, but...
A 26MY picture of underneath would be a good comparison, if you have the means.
Especially that heat exchanger.
See if they made that bigger or smaller.
I see you have a bearing press kit.
If you use that wrong - you will ruin the new bearing.
Perhaps you do know about ONLY pressing on cup/outer part for install.
But it concerns me you didn't leave the cone/inner attached to press the bearing out the correct side.
That tells me you may want to...
One difference with 25/26 that has been noted and tested.
The system can turn the HVAC on and AC on and show that by normally lit button.
Pre-25 if HVAC system is button off - it's off.
When you turn it on it may have AC button on compared to you having it off prior to turning truck off.
In...
So to level set - how much of the manual in the Climate Control Section have you gone thru?

No disable of regen.
Press on pedal when parked - pressure to the pads.
Get the tires to slip as braking - get the ABS involved.
Not sure how much ABS involvement if the tires aren't seen as slipping and a need to back off the pressure to prevent it.
From Car Care Nut on that potential issue - it was opening a car door and the system prepping to drive.
He said confirm key is removed from room so not seen as approaching, and don't open car door.
Of course it should be off anyway.
Otherwise Brake Maintenance mode (except certain 22's)...
I like to know I got options if it appears gas prices are dropping, or about to hit HyVee and get some credit off at Casey's.
I know when I get the 0 miles - I have an easy 2 gal available.
And even that estimate I know was based on a range of current miles - so what just dropped off that was...
How much did they say that was going to be at your dealership?
Because many of those are the 10K checks.
Interesting they don't include the coolant strength check in there (that I saw) - which is supposed to be done like every 6 months.
Be thankful they hook the battery up to a charger when they do software updates, since that was likely one or more of the recalls.
Meaning that could have been done at home, to see improvements.
Also be glad it wasn't done Dec and you are reporting about it in Jan.
Report likely would have been...
That piping coming off the exhaust - for the high voltage battery you saw the pipes going near when it's cold.
Not for the cabin sadly.
3 resistor elements in the air flow during extremes and engine is running for enough HVB power to run them. That's for the cabin. Likely won't even need them...
It's always interesting when sites or searches give the energy density difference in equal quantity of fuel.
But who is burning 100% Ethanol to see that difference.
Find the math for the difference and the result when only 10% is mixed in.
At least this thread isn't as bad as others - where...
