  1. Do you get comments on the street about your Maverick?

So the Vegas cop lied to you about cops lying. Or did I get that backwards. LOL.
  2. Fuel Type??

Really? How does 93 octane help clean the valves on a DI engine when the fuel is sprayed directly into the combustion chamber? Does top tier 87 octane have less detergents than 93? Maybe I'm missing something.
  3. Maverick recall frustration

Good point. I wonder what would happen if the OP stopped making payments to the lender? Would they go to the dealer and repo the Maverick. Not suggesting the OP really do that, just a hypothetical.
  4. Yikes all 5 oil changes have been synthetic blend???? Should I freak out or chill

I did NOT say that full synthetic is required, I posted that hybrids use 0W-20 not the 5W-30 that the OP was billed for.
  5. Yikes all 5 oil changes have been synthetic blend???? Should I freak out or chill

The last oil change that I got the tech put in the correct weight oil and noted that in his notes on the work he performed. The service advisor billed out the wrong weight oil by mistake. My dealer does oil billing weird. If the tech goes to the back parts counter to get oil the parts...

  7. Just had my "free battery test"

Your replacement battery is covered under the same 3yr/36 month warranty that your Maverick came with. The clock doesn't start over because the battery was replaced under base warranty.
  8. Turbo Waste gate Sensor Issue @ 50 miles

Ask to see the repair order.
  9. Recall - Backup camera

Only one rear camera freeze in 20 months with a 2023.
  10. Manual for 2025.Thats it?

I want the Yellow Pages back.
  11. Rodent damage

What is it? A rat tazer?
  12. Recall: 25S02 12V BATTERY INSPECTION

I've had similar experiences with my 2023 EcoBoost.
  13. Compatibility: ford.com/accessories vs parts.ford.com

I didn't know that certain states have a different process. Strange.
  14. Premium Maintenance Service Plan Issue

Thanks. Looks like 0W-20 SB is being made. Didn't stock it were I worked. Just checked and they still don't stock it.
  15. Rodent damage

Anyone one try Grandpa Gus's spray? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KU43IYA/?coliid=I182T0CMUV7TU6&colid=2DXZS0ETPZBY3&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1
  16. Premium Maintenance Service Plan Issue

I know that the Ecoboost can use either full synthetic or the synthetic blend 5W-30 oil. The hybrid calls for 0W-20 oil and Motorcraft only makes it in full synthetic. I hope your dealer is not putting a different weight oil in Maverick hybrids.
  17. Compatibility: ford.com/accessories vs parts.ford.com

You are correct. When I worked at a Ford dealer you would go to a Ford Accessories website to place an order. For Ford OEM parts you would place the order through our Reynolds and Reynolds system either by work order or parts invoice. Ford Accessories is totally separate from OEM replacement...
  18. Recall: 25S02 12V BATTERY INSPECTION

Those look like Ford engineering numbers and not part numbers to me. Ford battery part numbers are more precise. Like BAGM-48H6-760. An AGM battery, Group 48, which is it's size, with 760 cold cranking amps.
  19. Recall: 25S02 12V BATTERY INSPECTION

I agree. And as far as I know the 2022 EcoBoost only got built with the enhanced flooded battery mentioned in the advance notice for this recall and not the hybrids.
