So are you out of warranty and had to pay out of pocket for this? May I ask what the total ended up being? Unfortunately this sounds like this could be a common issue with our Mav's as they age and get some mileage on them.
Well it finally turned halfway warm here in MI (hit 50 degrees yesterday) and of course my 13 MPH thunk is back just like clockwork. Anyone else seeing the same thing in their neck of the woods if it warmed up as well? Honestly it was nice driving the truck when it's cold out and not having to...
Wow that's interesting and thanks for the update. I have seen others here report that the update only applies to the 26 Maverick currently so not sure what the heck is going on. I'm going to wait until I get word from Ford that the update for the 25 is indeed available. So what update did they...
I did see a few others comment on another site that their dealership came out to their house and did the software update. I'm hoping I can get that done around me too.
Check out post #30 in this thread from @HenrysDad. He has a 2025 XL and had the integrated park module updated at his dealer:

Glad they got it done for you. I'd be interested in seeing if the paperwork says about what was actually performed that fixed your battery drainage issue too. Seems strange that the parking brake recall would cause your battery drain issue but stranger things have happened I guess, lol.
I found it interesting about the proper procedure for applying the parking brake he mentions in the video. When I apply the parking brake in my 25 Hybrid I put it in park and apply the parking brake while my foot in still on the brake.
So you have an appt to fix the PADI recall or this integrated park module update recall? If it's the latter I didn't think Ford released a fix yet for it and said fix coming by the end of Q1. They should be able to do this via OTA update but I guess we'll see.
I got the recall notice today too from Carfax. Looks like it's only for Maverick Hybrids and sounds like they can make the fix via an OTA software update:

I wonder if it has to do with this:

I have a 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid and got a notice of the recall today.
So the question is why are these being underfilled coming from the factory? Is this just a cost cutting measure to save a few $ per unit or just employees not doing their job correctly?
Well that seems to be the case but it also seems like they have our Escape coded for the smaller battery size as 0707 means the battery is a 45AH (non AGM). But like you mentioned the battery type seems to be set to AGM so a bit of a mixed bag. I just wonder what happens if I put in H6 AGM...
How do you know that the factory battery charging config is set for AGM batteries? I'm not doubting you I'm just curious where you see that info? We have a 2023 Ford Escape AWD Hybrid that I need to put a new battery in. The oem Motorcraft one (non AGM) has been replaced 2x under warranty and...
Now that I reread it and after reading your reply I agree with you. Also thanks for taking the time to reply to all my questions here. Hopefully everything goes smoothly with the Escape battery change for me later this week. I know I was told to find a freshly stock battery as indicated by a...
