Well yes I agree it's something making the thunk noise with the rear driveshaft re-engaging at around 13mph. The most interesting question is why some have the noise and some don't? I've seem some people mention that the thunk noise is normal when the AWD is re-engaging but I don't buy that...
Does anyone know if the trailer programming module update 26C10 is going to be done OTA? I had the parking brake one done a few days ago so hopefully this trailer one comes OTA too plus I'm happy about the OTA update that appears to be coming for our 25 AWD system.
That thought crossed my mind as well. It may be too early into the model year but I wonder if there are any MY26 Maverick AWD owners who are experiencing the 13 mph thunk, thud or clunk? My 25 AWD Hybrid didn't make the noise for a handful of months after I purchased it from new and I know of...
OP here and just thought I would provide an update. I ended up just leaving both our 25 AWD Maverick Hybrid and our 23 Escape AWD Hybrid in the garage as they were and didn't charge either of them up before leaving or putting them on a trickle charger.
Neither vehicle received a battery saver...
I got a message on my 25 AWD Hybrid today that this update will take place at 1:00 AM so just a few hours from now. I plan on putting gas in it tomorrow so it'll be interesting to see what happens with the miles until empty and what the projected range is after fueling up.
I think I have one...
Like I mentioned I have (1) Noco Genius 5 which says it's a smart charger. I know it has settings for regular 12V batteries and AGM batteries as well. Honestly I'm more worried about our 23 Escape Hybrid sitting that long while were gone as it's had it's fair share and them some of 12V battery...
I've actually got into the habit of locking my Maverick in the garage when I park it after reading about that here on MTC. I figure it can't hurt but I'm pretty sure my wife hasn't been doing that with her Escape on the regular, lol:)
We are going on a trip and leaving our 25 AWD Maverick Hybrid and our 23 AWD Escape hybrid home in the garage while we are gone. Knock on wood but my 25 Maverick which turns 1 year old next month has been rock solid in the battery department (AGM) but honestly I think the longest I've gone...
Sorry to hear your now a member of the 13mph thud, thunk and clunk club:( - also luckily I haven't experienced losing the electric power steering and hopefully don't have to but would be interested in hearing more about the ignition cycle you did to fix it.
Please let us know what your dealer...
Flood Ford also sells Ford's Premiumcare warranty. They have a list of what it covers (over 1000 Key Components) and it shows A/C is covered?

I know you mentioned not having a link to the tailgate seal kit you bought but did it really make a noticeable difference for you? I have a generic tri fold hard top and it's been fine but I do get a good bit of water coming in around the tail gate when I wash the truck. I can see the huge gaps...
So just to be clear here the Ecvt is covered by the 5 year/60K miles Powertrain warranty correct and is not part of the hybrids 8yr/100K warranty? I've come across quite a few posts about the Ecvt leaking fluid but IIRC most of those posts have been the earlier models (like the OP's 2022). I...
Looking into what (if any) fluids we should change on our 2023 Ford Escape AWD Hybrid as it turns 3 years old in another month and will have just under 50K miles. Probably need to have both the RDU and PTU done but transmission may or may not need it yet. I will have to have them check the...
