Did the same when I rotated tires last month, forgot one at the rear as I lowered the floor jack. It was snug behind the plastic trim so didn't fall off on a short drive.

I fit the jack pinch weld adapter so it's behind the plastic trim.

Pict of the 2 clips on the rods that go to each side of the tailgate to latch/unlatch it. My soft tonneau has a lever to open it after opening the truck's tailgate. This pict will help me remember when to place a shim to unlatch the tonneau cover if my tailgate wouldn't open.

I used the Steelman 96095 Standard Square Head Tire Tool for Early Model Ford + cordless drill to lower my spare when rotating tires today. Made lowering & raising the spare easier than the Ford jack tool.

I do have the older type pad like your photo that doesn’t have electronics in it. Watts isn’t the problem since a 300W pure sine wave I have can power two of my larger pads.
