Gathering clues for maybe putting a CB in mine. Think I might go with clips to dangle it off passenger side of console.
I sure have no room behind the seats, just looked in there up close for the first time (recent buy) and I was all "Holy crap, what is all this junk?" Well I...
If you find a buddy with a ford trifold, see if they'd let you take a clamp off to try for fit. Because they are designed to clear, and seem to look like they are conventional clamps, so if you can get them as Ford Parts from an interweb discounter it might be worth swapping.
Thanks for the post, but whooo, counted 4 different fuse types, gonna make carrying spares complicated.
U: I'd like to buy fuses.
PartsCounter: Sure, what type and rating.
U: All of them.
I thought I better check ours for Ontario...
Which seems to mean, that for 8ft in the back, don't even need a flag because it comes out about a meter not 1.5... However, 10ft could cause arguments depending on whether Officer Barbrady wants to measure from the edge of the box or not. (When...
Those are a more advanced development of the concept that was seen in the Lifetime Tent Trailer that Costco used to sell https://www.lifetime.com/blog/post/new-lifetime-tent-trailer--perfect-for-work-and-play Seems like it's out of production and has been for 5 or 6 years. Those are a lot more...
Nice info on the Tractor Supply mat, I am putting something in for the cushioning. Will bear that in mind for when I wear out my high dollah solution mentioned in this thread but not installed as it's been raining since I brung the truck home...
I found out that the brodozer guys don't like it when I tell them I did more truck stuff with my Ford Escort Wagon then they probably did with their truck. One summer it hauled in a living room worth of furniture, a deck worth of wood, rain barrels, helped 2 people move apartments and did the...
Though from look of preliminary drawings a lot of yeses might bail when they realise that due to putting cab forward for packaging it's gonna look like a sawn off minivan in the flesh ... possibly a Chevy uplander LWB cut off at the C pillar.
Let's see if it works when we recycle an old joke.......
Seatbelt warning: Flash, Flash, Flash, (2 mins pass) Flash, Flash...
Driver: What? My Wife fell out? Thank God, I thought I had gone deaf.
If the SAE spec is SC, SD, SF, SH, SJ .... it's definitely too old. Though I can't recall what is the latest and greatest, last I checked it was SM but that could have been between 3 and 10 years ago.
ETA:Well the bottle of QS I bought last year has SP on it, so it's at least got up to there.
Where did those come from? I might end up with some pretty random rims for winters, Volvo, Land Rover or something, so those might go over their centers rather than having to buy Ford caps.
I realise the geographical differences will swing things wildly, I do like seeing the comparisons to last vehicle/current 2nd vehicle etc to see what the differential is to other vehicles. That tells you a bit.
Our province, in response to rising insurance costs, due to rising claims and...
I love to see guys getting wet and wild... uh, in the water... outdoors.... platonically.
Looks great. Currently my "navy" consists of a midlevel 12ft inflatable dinghy/raft with seat and outboard mount, and a toy class 3 man inflatable. Hoping to get more use out of the first now I can plug in...
