I am averaging 27mpg in my EB Lariat. I drive about 65% highway. I typically drive 5mph over the posted limit which in my area is 60 (so I'm usually going 65). On the weekends when I'm just toodling around town it drops to no lower than 24mpg. I'm not a lead-foot and I use the Normal driving...
Great question. I have one but I haven't had an opportunity to use it yet. I believe it will work fine just sitting in the sunglasses cubby on top of the dash. We've used it that way in my wife's car in the past. I don't want to attach it to the windshield either. I already have a dashcam and...
My buddy was driving on the highway yesterday and saw his 1st Maverick out in the wild. He was super excited to take a photo and text it to me so he pulled up along side it, and it was me. LOL 😂
I went to hardwire my dashcam today and found out that I'm actually a total dumbass.
I didn't realize I'd need a micro 3 fuse tap. The kit I bought had an assortment of sizes, but no micro 3.
Side note, There's already a ground wire connected to a bolt behind the trim on the lower...
My cousin just bought me one of these for my birthday. I haven't installed it yet though. What kind of performance benefits can I expect to get with it? I have a Mav Ecoboost. Thanks.
Mine arrived today. It took about 30 minutes to install.
Edit: It's crazy how Cactus Gray changes depending on the light. My first pic looks blue and now it looks green. So weird!
I went Lariat Lux specifically for ACC w/Lane Centering. I'd never owned a vehicle with those features before and I'd never tried it anywhere either. I do however use CC all the time so I just went for it. I'm glad I did. It makes highway driving much less stressful. I don't think I'll ever go back.
Thank you!
My kids spent 8 months listening to me talk about how we were getting a new truck, which was a long time for me, but an eternity for them. By the time it finally arrived I think they were more excited than I was. We'll be at the grocery store or Target and they'll just tell random...
It's the Access LiteRider. I got it from RHRSwag for about $400+tax. (I saved $40 by finding a 10% Off coupon.)
I like this tonneau and it's made very well, but it WILL leak if you don't weatherproof it upon installation.
There's a little vinyl flap on the tonneau that presses against the back wall of the cab which is supposed to keep out water but in reality doesn't, like...at all. I used silicone to adhere the flap to the wall and then put the gorilla tape over it. I also put silicone in the back corners...
I'll try to take some when I get home from work this afternoon. The lighting sucked last night while I was doing it, so I didn't take any pics at the time.
My soft roll-up tonneau was leaking quite a bit at the front and back so I used some silicone sealant and Gorilla Tape to weatherproof the back underside by the cab, and rubber weatherstripping around the tailgate.
Everything is on the inside so you can't see it unless you look underneath the...
