sounds like the window motor is bad. A little trick to temporarily get it moving is smack the door panel while holding the switch. Sometimes it will jar the motor so it will work. It can also jar a bad connection in the door too. The problem is if it starts working the dealer might do a "no...
I competed too back then, even got a qualification for the car audio nationals, never went. (yes I'm old too) I ran Orion amps and CV subs. I did have a Zapco EQ for a while, couldn't get the alternator noise out of it very well.
you have received a recall notice? Or you saw a recall coming on the website? I think I read they will start sending them out June 15th. No?
I was replying to question "will they keep my truck at the dealer because of this" type question. I'm just saying Ford says to stop driving if you here...
I think you are really pushing it, flat ground seems like a big plus though. Just take it slow and easy for sure.
And please let us know how it does, I have a boat I am going to try and it worries me a bit.
Mine is not in the shop either.
I doubt it would set a misfire code when shutting down.
I got a call from a Ford rep who asked about my problem and asked if it was at the dealer. I told her no and I would take it in if I can duplicate the noise. She said they will give the info on the noise to...
It can't slam the valve shut. I'm beginning to think it's a run-on with some sort of ICE to transmission damper thing that makes noise. Hopefully it's not jamming gears so to speak in the Hybrid drive unit.
P.S. Did Ford reach out to you on this forum? He did me. A case was opened so hopefully...
I went and tried mine, they don't do that. It's a 2023. Maybe it's a quirk of some of the trucks? Very strange.
I can't see what else you could do other than changing the motor. The good news is I doubt the wipers will fail because of this although it would be annoying for sure.
My truck made a similar noise yesterday! It didn't last as long as the noise in the video but it was similar. This is a 2023 with 220 miles on it. I left it running, got out to get the mail, and the ICE just so happened to shut off while I was right near the front of the truck. It was pretty...
things that cause the engine to continue to run without ignition are hot spots in the combustion chamber and too high of an idle. The hot spots get solved in a sense by higher octane fuel and they can be solved by cleaning the cum
thanks for that. I am a retired auto mechanic and just got told...
