I notice on my 23 hybrid there is a large square hole that looks like it accepts some kind of hatch/cover. It's about 8" x 8" or so. Anyone know if I'm missing it or are they all sent out without it?
yes, I've gone into the garage after the truck has been off for an hour or so and it just starts making relay and motor noises (and the key is in the house).
Very strange, it's a wonder the battery doesn't die. (but....I guess a lot do)
to change drive modes you can cycle very quickly through the modes. As an example to put my 23 into Eco mode I can click 4 times real quick and it's there. No need to wait for the next mode to come up.
I could be mistaken but it seems like if I close the door the horn honks twice when I walk away. It doesn't if I leave the door open. I've never tried to walk very far away. I assumed it was telling me I didn't shut it off.
I'll decide on a warranty when the factory one expires. Heck, might not even have the truck by then, anything can happen. I sure don't want to buy a warranty for someone else or if it's totaled for example.
if you hear a loud bang something is very wrong.
My 2023 hybrid's brakes are a bit touchy but were very easy to get used to . I think it's the regen going on that makes them like that.
I did drive a 2022 at Carmax that the brakes were super touchy at slow speed, no doubt it never had the TSB...
again. nothing to do with what we are hearing.
BTW I have seen a video by this guy on a hybrid Mavrick that had a bad battery cable. He was playing with the cable end in a vise trying to get it hot to play with the solder. He couldn't understand why the end clamped in the vice wouldn't get hot...
