I searched by the base #. I searched VIN-less in parts catalog.... All I can see is NZ6Z-5F250-B for hybrid Maverick. I don't see any supersession.
I looked up the parts info. Both the F and B have identical prices. I tried searching for what the F would fit and didn't come up with...
The 22 order not being touched was so that the transition would happen properly.
That would be good news if whoever is moving these orders to 02 priority isn't depending on just the order #!
I guess the order submission date in November would be a giveaway, since these are the only orders...
That may be a concern. Changing the order number shouldn't be a problem for unscheduled 22s that had to be reentered as a 23, but the order numbers were supposed to remain the same for the cancelled and transitioned orders.
Is it possible that they already had a "duplicate" order number in the...
Yes, so the dealer paper work has 2021. The WBDO/DORA from Ford shows 2022. From Ford's point of view 9/16/22 is your order date. Price and incentive protection (if applicable) will be based on that date.
On the dealer's paperwork?? Or in WBDO??
Because, to be clear, when an order for a new model year is entered into the system, the order/receipt date will change (to the current date).
2023 Mavericks could not be ordered in 2021. So that date would certainly be incompatible in WBDO.
The...
Are you a cancelled 22, that needed to be switched to 23? Order numbers were not supposed to change for those.
If you were an unscheduled 22, that was rolled over to 23, then the dealer can put in whatever order # they wanted for the 23. It doesn't matter.
I had looked up a different part of the exuhaust.
As for NZ6Z-5F250-B (the entire converter assembly), it shows that there are "2" backordered. The2 date off backorder is estimated as 12/05/22.
Right now, the system shows 2 in the parts depot in Memphis. And 123 in Sacramento.
So I would...
Your guess is as good as mine! It may be some sort of regional/zone manager at Ford who does it? That may explain the timing variation.
I just checked again. And ours is 02 now.
The dealer should be handling the approval of the rental. Ford will only approve 10 days at a time. But they will certainly approval the rental if the part is backordered.
I deal with warranty claims for a Ford dealer... I don't understand how they are justifying replacing the whole exhaust...
You are right that semi-synthetic blend is put in most Ford vehicles by the factory, but not in the hybrids. These have full-synthetic from the factory. XO-0W20-QFS
Yes, that is the correct about the cap on the doc fee. Dealers don't have to accept X-plan. It is a choice.
The admin fee is part of the X-plan sale price, not in addition to it.
That, plus a little bit of luck!!!
I think most dealers will have at least 2X the orders for SDs than allocation! Made worse by the fact the 23 MY will be a short production run.
Allocation for the cancelled orders is supposed to be returned to dealers (over a period of months). So the dealer should get extra allocation because of the cancellation and reorder. But constraints still apply. And allocation could still be an issue.
