I wouldn't keep the oem tires on the hybrid in our snowy WNY weather. There's not much tread on them to start with. I have Blizzak WS90s on mine, and they've been good so far! (I haven't had to try to go through more than 6 or 8 inches though....And I'm hoping I don't have to test them out in...
I have our dealership email connected to our customer orders so we get the updates as well....We just had a bunch come through staggered over the last 30 min.
Yeah, it is strange. I just shifted all the music I'd usually listen to on bluetooth onto USB drives and that has been working well for me.
Does the phone audio work on bluetooth for you? Or is that the same as the media?
Not exactly the same, but the audio quality for bluetooth audio is pretty terrible for me. As is the radio.
I use USB drive for music and it works great.
I'm not sure if they will or not either....
I do work at a dealership....and attended a webinar meeting were some people at Ford did say that they would be prioritizing the rollovers. But I don't know if anything has been implemented, and if so, to what extent.
The only way that I can think of is to reference the address-list for the private transition offer, and prioritize the 23 orders COVPd to those same addresses?
No. That is not how it works.
Cancelled 22s were automatically reentered by Ford as 23s w/ priority code of 99. The dealer needed check the order (and make any changes the customer wanted) and resubmit w/ priority 10-19. Then Ford changed priority code to 02.
For rollovers (22s that were...
Ford specifically said that they would give allocation to dealerships for these cancelled and reordered hybrid Mavericks...but that allocation would be distributed over a period of months.
Allocation isn't linked to a specific order. Our dealership had our one cancelled 22 rescheduled as 23...
I'm not sure if a dealer could tell you what "number" you are. They could tell you the # of orders and your priority code. But constraints will be the biggest factor. Higher priority orders w/ constrained items will be skipped over for lower priority orders with no / fewer constrained options.
Hybrid Escapes, plug-in hybrid Escapes, and hybrid Explorers are all also constrained and difficult to get. I don't know for sure about the hybrid F-150......but I suspect that is in the same situation.
That is possible. Ford will keep the plants full. If your dealership has allocation, and there are buildable EBs (when no more hybrids are available to schedule that week), these could take up more of the dealers allocation, and the remaining hybrids could be left delayed/unscheduled.
If no one...
Yes, that too! And the tremor orders started late, right? There wasn't a whole lot of time to fit orders in the small amount of time after they gave details about the Tremor!
They were high demand for 2022.......people had to drop to get scheduled. Now for 23, they increased capacity, but not as many people ordered because they were concerned about the 2022 constraints.
Yes, I've just read it over a few times myself! But it does look like they will allow that (and are encouraging it). It will be interesting to track how many people make the hybrid to EB change!
The presence or absence of a private offer doesn't affect the dealer at all. If the customer has the offer, that amount is paid to the dealer by Ford. If not, that amount is paid by the customer.
You are right. It is a good idea to at least confirm with your dealer (or Ford if your dealer isn't...
As long as the # exists, you should be all good! You don't actually need to give the # to your dealership. It will show up in SmartVincent when they look up your name & address.
But now you know for sure that there is no issue in your being eligible for the private offer.
Price and incentive protection would change to that date.
The order date may also play a small roll in scheduling (but constraints and allocation are still a bigger factor).
