The price protection for the dealer is based on the increase in "invoice price" (less any difference in the fuel expense), so it won't be the same as the MSRP increase (but should be in the ballpark). I have heard of many dealers doing it this way. It usually takes Ford 4-6 weeks to pay this...

People complain about squeaky Escape brakes all the time....Ford says it is normal. I assume that the Maverick pads are made with similar material!

This is something that the dealer has to do. The Ford reps (including inventory specialists) are not meant to be contacted by customers.

Sounds like you have done everything on your end that you can to get the dealership to work on this for you. Don't let it affect your health! No vehicle is worth that. Hope yours gets scheduled and that everything ends up working out well for you!

I can't see how it would affect price protection or incentive protection (ie. interest rate). The 23s start all over for both of these....the pricing and incentives from the 22 are not carried over. No special rates available from Ford Credit at the time of order. If the 22 COVP was done...

Not really much at all the dealer can do to speed things up (other than advising you to drop constrained items). You can check with your dealer about your priority code. And see if they have allocations remaining in the month (these are generally given out on a monthly basis). Other than that...

I did as well!! My report came directly from WBDO. Maybe the other was emailed to someone at a dealership from a Ford rep....and they modified a few things on the report? I can't think of how else the report could be different!! I double checked the report I downloaded....both are from 12/19.
