  5. Does your state charge extra renewal fee for Hybrid and EV ?

    In Tennessee, starting next year at registration renewal, hybrid = +$100, EV= +$200. I agree that it’s not exactly fair to make everyone pay the same regardless of mileage, but since Tennessee doesn’t have state inspections, there’s no easy way to verify mileage.

    Is there a visual way to tell if the truck is hybrid or EB? Badges, different grills, anything? Or do you just have to ask the owner?

    I wish it would happen, but I don’t think it will. I think it’s a lot harder to make this kind of change in a unibody than on a body-over-frame like the Ranger.

    That would be ok as long as they sent notices of delivery to buyers. I can’t place 100% trust in a dealership to do the right thing.

    The only problem I see with your plan is that the more companies that jump into this segment, the lower the used market will be. The reason the Maverick resale market is so high now is the lack of competition in the segment.

    IDK. I’m retired (69 yo) and financially comfortable. I’ll probably keep it until its death or mine.

    All I can figure is that that % includes orders for 24’s from the 7/17 order bank. Many of the 23-24 rollover orders must be counted twice.
