    No matter what you want, the sales facts for a long time have shown less than 6% of buyers go with a manual. A friend of mine put a manual in an Excursion, so it can be done!

  4. My one regret. No adaptive cruise

    With decades of using plain vanilla cruise control, I’m still happy with just that and not the adaptive type. Not a fan of lane keeping either, but of course they are all good safety features if you like them.

    Looks like a good decision! New air filters are cheap insurance.

  6. Dealer pulling intake because of misfire codes

    cylinders 2 and 4 are misfiring. I don't know if this engine has 2+4 on the same cycle, but if so that could be a clue to diagnose the misfire. I'd guess they're just asking about the exhaust to find out all the info they can to narrow down the possible causes.

    3/4 of a tank and the readout said 50.2mpg. With the amount I put in the tank it was more like 47.9mpg. I was happy the miles to empty would have been 666.

    Yes. New vehicles typically have higher pressures for some reason. It almost always makes sense to go with the manual.

  18. Does horn honk when tires fill to correct air pressure?

    Maverick doesn’t have it. I’d never heard of this before and don’t need it.

    OR…it’s a rare nuclear powered engine and you never need to open the fuel door until in 30 years it’s time to de-fuel and re-fuel the reactor. You know, like an aircraft carrier!:ROFLMAO:

  20. Dealership forgot to tighten skid plate after oil change, photos of skid plate wanted!

    I’d guess that the newest techs are working the quick lane oil changes, not an excuse, but it explains a lot. Hopefully the service writer is letting them know they need to do better.
