other ford forums say that. What I found, on other window stickers from prior Ford’s that I have had have this invoice date, I think it means it’s the date the window sticker was produced. In the past this invoice date was about a week maybe 10 days before the blend date that would be on the...
I been curious to why they are not putting the blend date on Mavericks. I been trying to figure out when my Maverick was assembled to look for the recall on the rear seat belt bolts. All I know is the invoice date toward the bottom was 9/24 so the blend was probably 8-13 days, but maybe longer.
It’s not a problem. My XL only has two things missing that I really wanted: Cruise control and a leather wrapped steering wheel.
I had adaptive cruise on my Escape but hated it and shut it off. I loved the blind spot monitoring and lane keep assist so that was something I knew I had to have...
I emailed 4dTech this morning (the other company that makes obd programmers) about the idea of a programmer for cruise control or a cruise control kit.
Here is my email:
Hello! I have ordered items in the past from your site and have been very happy. I recently bought a brand new 2022 Ford...
are you sure there is no wiring at all? I only ask because many of the Rangers and F150’s that do not have the hitch will come with a 4 pin connector but it’s in a different spot underneath the truck. I can’t say for sure what hitch-less Mavericks will have.
I bet there is an APIM but I have seen the videos on upgrades for the Escape and the Bronco Sport and basically, you will have to tear out most of your entire dash and everything in the center console to do it.

Bronco Sport
also, here is the Amazon link for the ones I got. I would also go to a hardware store and get a couple of thin 5/16 washers because they bolts will not all tighten in the exact same spot.

sorry I am late to seeing this but I just want to clear up some confusion. To do this upgrade to gain basic cc you just need to get a new steering from an Escape or Bronco Sport and a way to program into the OBD2 port for this to work?
one possible idea for programming Is I sent in a request...
I think Ford is holding out on many of these vehicles because they made a deal with google to make a new android based infotainment system, sort of like what GM will be doing. Ford seems bent on retiring the Sync system that QNX has done and they are using the holdover systems on many of these...
Just filled up today. My trip was 36.1, my hand calculation was 35.57. It is usually about 33.5 for me when I hand calculate. I did less in city driving this week, so that is why my mpg was a bit higher.
that may be, but I suspect it’s more about how they programmed the transmission to shift than the engine. It seems these days the transmission performance is more about programming than anything else. The ZF transmissions on the rwd drive European and Stallantis vehicles have the best shifting...
ya it does, it’s there because those back ones are what really holds the whole thing in, especially if you have the cover folded up and snapped into the Velcro
