I had just filled up today and took a picture after I filled up, but before I reset the trip meter. The computer said 35.2 mpg, I had calculated and got around 34.9. I just put on a new tonneau cover last night so now future fillings will have that cover on. I generally get 33-34 when I had...
Much of the discrepancy comes from elevation. The best times from an ICE vehicle will be near sea level with a higher barometric pressure. TFL usually has worse 0-60 times because they are based out of Boulder, CO in mile high altitudes. They even admit that. That video racing those trucks...
ya I put two tiny pieces right by the back of the cab, it sort of indents down slightly, unfortunately my tailgate seal got old and doesn’t stick well at all!
From the first time I put the fasteners on they are a bit harder to use than a brand I used on a truck a few years ago, but I think it will get easier once they been used a few times. The only place I could see some leaking is near the back of the cabon each end the metal indents down slightly...
I went with WeatherTech as well. My thing is I wanted a mat that went under the gas pedal and most importantl, I wanted asap! Floor mats are the first thing i get when I buy a vehicle, I can wait for many other things but I want the floor mats now!
Yes they are. The one thing to look out for is when it’s new, the lever doesn’t seem to work well until, you use it a few times. I even had to get out of the seat to get the lever to work, but does now.
fortunately, I am only strapping a very light weight cooler and to only one of them, the other side is strapped to one of those rings that are near the bottom of the bed in back. I am spreading the load to two different types of bolts in here to protect that.
thank you for doing that. I didn’t know this site does that with links. One other thing to consider as I mentioned before; you should get some stainless steel locked or flat washers at 5/16 because the eye bolts will not all tighten at the same position so the washers on some of them may even...
I just put the M8 x 32mm eyebolts in today and they fit extremely well. The only issues is the bolts will tighten at different spots so some look like the hole part will be horizontal and so vertical. One thing I did to even this was to put some thin washers (5/16 will work for these). These...
Same thing happened here. My father originally tried to put and M8 screw in quickly but didn’t work, but i slowly put it in the slot and twisted slowly (this was a day after I had the bed spray lined) and it went through. I just got the M8 eye bolts in the mail today and will test them tomorrow.
Well some things Ford puts in those manuals are not always on point. One good example of this is when I noticed in the Maverick Order guide is that it says that the Maverick has a “manual climate control, single zone” As standard in the XL. This actually is not true, it has an Electronic...
Ya, some of the Ford dealers here are using pure Nitrogen instead of good old Air (78% Nitrogen). The valve stem cover is green noting that it has pure Nitrogen in it. It is sort of a gimmick and I read that it is useless, but on my Escape I never lost any psi that gradually happens over time...
