I spec'd the rear window on my order only because one of my dogs loves to stick his head out. No idea if he'll actually use it, but $345 to maybe make a dog happy is money well spent for me.
I know the average age here is "nearly dead," so most of you (should) probably know this already, but for any youngins:
"Slush box" isn't *just* a pejorative; it's also a fairly accurate description of how traditional automatic transmissions work.

All of the mirror/dashcam models I have found are really just LCD screens with multiple camera inputs. Does anyone just build a camera into a normal (though, ideally, dimming) mirror?
The dumbest ones are when people upbadge their lower trims. Anyone who would know enough to be impressed* would also know enough to spot the inaccuracies.

Yeah, I've always envied the European market, where size and quality aren't so locked together. I buy small because I like small, not because I can't afford big. I just wish small didn't so often mean shitty.
As for the "economy"-ness of it all, I find myself rather unexpectedly having to shop...
I'd be embarrassed to tell you how much I'd be willing to pay for a really nice interior. Like, a special edition that's just "here's a small, hybrid pickup with the quietest, softest interior we could manage?" shutupandtakemymoney.gif, y'know?
