I thought most of the friction you encountered in your previous thread related to your stated premise that you needed a 5Klb trailer, because there weren't any/enough 4Klb trailers that suited your needs, rather than people opposed to pulling a trailer at all.
I don't think you'll find many...
I'm not looking to take the Maverick wheeling, but does anyone make skidplates for them?
EDIT: too answer my own question, looks like yes, there are a few. Not sure that any of the ones In seeing would have helped with this specific damage, though...
I'm curious about your specific needs, because there are rather a lot of travel trailers that will work just fine within the Maverick's rated limitations.
Can you exceed them? Probably. There's usually some buffer for consumer stupidity built into these types of things. But it hardly seems like...
I've learned one thing in all my reading on this subject: everybody loves what they bought.
So I kinda suspect they're mostly all fine.
Assume some degree of get-what-you-pay-for-edness in the build materials, set a budget and buy the name you recognize.
Mine (2nd gen Mini) has never done anything weird. It makes okay guesses. But nothing with more accuracy than a low-med-high intermittent setting. It's...fine.
I'm happy to add this to the list of Weird Omissions from the Maverick, but it's not one that I feel very strongly about.
I've had rain sensors on my daily for the last 13 years and... I'm really not convinced they're useful. At least no more than any, regular intermittent system.
Most rain, you just want them on. Or REALLY on. Anything lighter, it's tricky to get the timing exactly where you want it, with or...
These results are interesting, but what would be *more* interesting to me is"which colors would you be willing to consider?" Because things like black and white are ranking very lowly, but I imagine they're acceptable alternatives for many, many people.
Does the poll software here allow for...
Fwiw, the last leg of road to my weekend place is nearly a mile long, steeply inclined, rutted and so in need of fresh gravel that it basically qualifies as dirt at this point and the Defenders have handled it fine.
...In a fwd Prius V. For years.
Does this prerequisite mean you're looking for an A/T or M/T tire? I ask mostly because it seems somewhat at-odds with the rest of your wishlist.
If you're okay with a tire that has zero off-road aspirations, I've yet to find one that is better at year-round quiet, comfortable cruising than the...
