Compared to wired connections, all wireless charging is very slow. But yeah, the one that was briefly in the Maverick got especially bad reviews. Probably part of why they pulled it, tbh.
So this is actually a camera/ color theory thing! Light Blue often reads as white (but under cool lighting) when shown with limited context. It's not really a problem in person, because your eyes adjust for the shared lighting. Basically, your brain is always auto-white balancing.
Amusing...
I mean... I've done it in a Prius V and a Crosstrek, but I'd sure prefer to do it in something with a bed.
Which... actually...is a true statement for many, many definitions of "done it"...
What's the dry weight on that one? I like how it minimizes its frontal area in a way that still allows for some height.
My wife has been talking about getting something smaller and lighter than our THOW, but I haven't really investigated the market yet.
'66 had the stacked headlights, right? I love that era Galaxie.
Also, if you're not already familiar, lol up the Rev. Horton Heat song "Galaxie 500." It's off an album that most people ignore, but I think it's on par with his/their best work.
Absolutely. Something like Dodge's "Plum Crazy" or Jeep's "Reign" would look great.
I also think a louder, lighter green could work, but they'd have to change up that blue plastic on the interior. It clashed with Eruption (otherwise a pretty good color, imo) and it would clash even more with...
Yep. I've got plans. And expendable income.
The lines of the Maverick present some challenges, as does the abundance of existing black plastic accents, but I think there's fun to be had.
Interestingly, it's a social construct that completely flipped fairly recently. I'd have to look it up to get the timeline just right, but iirc, as recently as ~100 years ago, infant boys were dressed in pink, because it was seen as a more energetic, vital color and blue was viewed as passive...
I feel fairly certain that few people would choose an image of a Barbie (or similar) doll looking disgusted in order to convey their feeling that something was stylish or appealingly fashionable, yes.
I've seen at least one report that it's the exact same as the Bronco and Bronco Sport Heritage "Robin's Egg Blue" but given the even less interesting name "Light Blue" to tie it to the Ford pickups of the 70s and 80s.
I've also seen at least one person claim that it is the same color code as...
This is a good example of what's so great about this color: it's disliked by people who a) are deeply concerned about choosing a shade that might somehow damage their own fragile sense of gender identity and b) can't spell "chick."
Do you have a link? If it's like I'm picturing, I'd be worried about the red outline getting lost against a red truck, so you'd end up with, functionally, just slightly smaller black letters.
