I'm in MI and drive a hybrid. My mpg has dropped when it got cold. Right now I'm getting about 38 to 40 mpg. I drive about 8 miles on the freeway (70 mph), 16 miles on the road (no faster than 55) to & from work and I do coast when coming up to a stop light.

The last time I had a new car and dropped it off they gave me a loaner but that was long time ago....Do the dealership still give out loaners now for a TSB repair? I think I may email my salesperson about this. Dropping off my car wouldn't be an issue if I had my 2nd car up here now.

How long did this software update take? The dealership wants me to drop it off for the entire day. I really don't want to drop off the car for the entire day if it's only a hour job to update the software. If they give me a loaner then I wouldn't have an issue with that.
