    It's grabby and I got my Maverick late October of 2022. I'm not sure why the service manager said it would take hours but at least I got a loaner car.

    No, I had all the bolts but it just wasn't packaged great. What I would have done was create a separate bag for the rails, tie downs and cross bars. I did mistakenly used a short bolt where I was suppose to use a long bolt and ripped open the rubber cover on a bolt.

    I have the same setup as you! I agree with you regarding the directions for installing the Elevate racks. The directions and packaging needs improvements.

    Even if the dealership have not cashed your check, go to your bank or online and place a stop hold on that check. "Squeaky wheel gets the grease" Social media is your friend, use it wisely.

    That sucks! I would go full throttle on the social media now...I wouldn't care if it hurts some people feelings but they deserve it. Did they say, they would make it right after they sold your Maverick (I think I read that)? If I were you, I would gather all you documentation in date order...

    I'm taking in my Maverick for the TSB fix this Saturday. When I scheduled the service I had them put in the TSB 22-2493 so they are aware why I'm bringing in my truck. They were not aware of this TSB until they looked it up. I will post my results when I get my truck back.

    I wanted the Yakima bed racks too but it wouldn't work with my hard cover roll up tonneau. I think I read on here someone installed the Yakima bed racks but he had to do some modifications to the base.

    In MI you can sell a car, parent to sibling or siblings to siblings and not have to pay state taxes. I check out your state department of vehicle place....In MI we call it the secretary of state office.

    There are some good dealerships out there. My nieces husband was on a waiting list for a Maverick. He go the call and purchased a 2023 XLT eco boost at MSRP....No markup!

    What kind of kayak mounts are you using on your bed racks? Is your setup pretty stable on highway speeds and how much lower did the MPG take a hit? Did you need help putting your kayak on the bed rack?
