This is very long thread. I'm glad you received your Maverick and I bet that dealership is feeling pretty stupid now! If you do have the heart to return their phone call make sure you make them feel how stupid they are and if they want to win your heart back over....ask for a free Ford tonneau...

If the car was sold to another buyer it will be registered. Once it's registered you can probably/maybe get a Carfax on the vehicle providing you have the VIN number.

Great post and I agree 100% calling out these dealers marking up a car over MSRP! When the time comes for me to pickup my hybrid and they mark it up...I will be talking very loud in the dealership, telling them I'm going to use social media to call them out and demanding deposit back if I don't...
