I think my least favorite thing is when I look in my rearview mirror and see someone riding my butt, fearing I'll get rear ended and the Mav will get totaled. Other than that, I would appreciate the ability to manually select a gear(maybe because it had been a while since driving an automatic...
She’s definitely squatting! Most weight I’ve had in mine was my welder/generator(whole setup is probably 800lbs) and a few pieces of steel. Only sagged the back a couple inches and she handled it like a champ. I use my old F-250 for the heavy work, but she was down and I figured I’d put the...
Mine got a scratch on the hood within an hour of bringing it home...I guess one of the barn cats thought it looked comfortable. I just cussed at the cat and thought to myself "Well at least that's out of the way."
For the namesake, I think the timing worked out well with the Top Gun Maverick release. I personally am within the targeted age bracket you mention, but nothing else. I didn't want a eco or urban-friendly truck, I just wanted a cheap little daily driver with a bed to throw tools and stuff in...
It’s been a while since anyone has actually approached me about the Maverick, but I had two this week. A coworker who apparently hasn’t known I had one for the last year and a half (he works at the other end of our yard and I don’t see him often) was checking it out asking how comfortable it was...
Tried eco mode on a trip to Florida last year and didn't have any real change with mainly freeway driving. Have not tried it with my normal country road driving because I hate how much it lugs the engine. Mileage drops for me in tow/haul, which I expect anyways since I only use it when hauling...
I've always had that icon with wired CarPlay albeit in a different spot. Don't remember where exactly or what it means, but I know I've seen it before!
I have had Covercraft Seat Savers in mine for over a year...also have them in my F-250 and am very happy with the fit and protection. Yes, they are expensive(think I was about $400 US for the complete set for the Maverick), but I destroy vehicle interiors with grease, oil, mud, dirt, etc and...
The turbo is far down on my list of worry items. If it fails down the road, I’ll replace it. At least I can lay on a creeper instead of laying across the top of the engine to get to the firewall where the turbo is on my 7.3 diesel.
I give warmup and cool-down time, full synthetic oil changes...
Hate doing it, but I’ll step up and admit when something is my fault. I have a tremendous respect for those who do the same, and even more respect for you for posting it on an internet forum.
As for the rough riding Mack, I feel your pain. Walking beam suspension concrete mixer trucks are not...
Got mine brand new 8/23 and have just under 33k miles. Short of still needing to get a few recalls done (which I have not had the problems they address), I have yet to have any trouble. Fluids and filters is all I’ve done.
As a matter of fact, I just returned last weekend from my second trip to...
The badge design is the last thing on my mind. I like the blue and chrome, and I like the black and white. I also like the blacked out badge on my BAP Maverick.
I'm stuck in the past, so I might let out a sigh if they get rid of the cursive, but then I probably won't care anymore;)
