When I first got mine I’d get someone every few weeks ask me “Is that the new Ranger?” or “Can I look at it I’m thinking about getting one.” They never approached me, but the last one I got was I heard someone say “That’s a nice color”(HPR) when I had it in a parking garage for a few hours. They...
Our winters have been mild the last few years and my second photo is the most snow my Maverick has seen. If we ever get a real snowstorm again, there will definitely be a picture posted here!
100% agree. Mine lasted about a year before I replaced them, and only because they were starting to streak here and there. Tried Rain X, Trico, and Bosch and they were all reduced to just smearing water around within 4 months or so (have wiper blades gotten this bad the last couple years or am I...
30k miles on my 23 FWD EcoBoost with no problems to report short of the recalls I need to get done. Fluids and filters only, hoping it stays that way for a while.
I have a ThinkCar CJS101 I bought off one of the tool trucks that comes to my work. Paid $120 for it, pretty sure the price is about the same on ThinkCar's website. 1,000 amp jump pack and is also an OBDII scanner. I let a colleague borrow it to start their 5.0 F-150 that's been sitting for...
I have weathertech in my old F-250 and the factory floor liners in the Maverick. I like both but prefer the Maverick’s…much less slippery! And they seem to clean up easier.
It's pretty funny...the "big truck bros" I know want to knock my Maverick cause it's not a "big truck." Problem for them is, they see it as an old Ford Ranger. They all love the old Rangers. Therefore, none of them can seem to build any argument against the Maverick.
I just smile with my cheap...
Never tried my 1/2 inch Milwaukee impacts for this(I use my baby M12 impact driver). But I'm pretty sure if they can take off rusted semi-truck lug nuts, you won't be reusing any hardware for the splash pan:crackup:
I don't buy much from Harbor Freight, but I really like the stuff I do get there. Looks like a nifty little screwdriver, and much easier than what you were using when underneath the truck.
My one pet-peeve is the voice in the back of my head taunting me… “When ya think them CV joints are gonna go out?” I just ignore that voice and drive.
Knock on wood no issues so far
I don't deny Ford has a quality/recall issue as of late. The only recall I have that might concern me is wiper failure, but I'm sure with the nature of said wiper failure, there will be symptoms that something is wrong. Still have the 2 BCM update recalls for tail lights and turn signals, and...
I put Bounce dryer sheets in anything I have that sits. People think I'm crazy when I tell them it works. I do use Bounce in my dryer though(one box goes to the basement for laundry, one goes out to the shop for stuffing in equipment)
Someday I’d love to see sights like this. For now, I get my yearly 2,500ish mile round trip to Florida to visit family for a week. Even though I basically know the route like the back of my hand, it’s nice to see scenery I don’t see everyday. And the Maverick makes the trip a comfortable...
I also use my hazards to warn others of stopped or quickly slowing traffic.
Adding on to everyone else...any time a light turns yellow, I glance in my mirror to make sure there isn't A) a truck within any reasonable distance behind me, B) some idiot riding my bumper, or C) some idiot not...
