They couldn't have caught it on the line since the spray-in is done after the vehicle has been built and off site. Another thing is that they don't fill the fuel tanks at the factory. Only enough gas gets put in to move it around till it gets delivered.
I had a York drop-in bed liner put in on my 2000 F-350 Super Duty when I first bought it. After 21 years I took it out when I was getting ready to sell the truck and the bed still looked like it did the day it left the factory.

Not only would you not know that it was done, getting the fuel tank replaced brings up a whole other headache in proving who did it since it wouldn't be covered under the Ford warranty (unless done by the dealer).
It wasn't done on the assembly line since the spray-in liner is done off site, and was when they were cleaning out the drain holes in the bed of the spray-in liner material.
The Spray In Bed Liner isn't done at the factory. After the vehicle is built, it is then transported off-site by truck where it is done and then brought back to the factory for shipping.

No, the factory code remains. You just have the ability to add another code to the one programmed at the factory. When you go to program your own code, you need to type in the default factory code first to add another one.
Going to go online tonight and watch Tim Bartz and see if he has any insight as to what may be going on. I realize he is only a dealership rep, but at least he provides some information whereas other - like Ford - don't. My only issue is that he was dead wrong in the amount of time that it was...
Even though it went "In Production" on 12/14 you won't get a window sticker until the week before or a few days before, it is actually scheduled at the factory to be built. Mine was scheduled the week of 11/29 and I got my windows sticker on 11/26 and was built on 12/03 and has been sitting in...
Hopefully they will be able to resolve the issue over the holiday weeks since they haven't done a lot of scheduling for anything until January. Gives them a chance to use the chips that they do have to fix the ones that were built without them.
I would call Ford Customer service and open up a case and get them involved. Once they are involved they will also be in contact with the dealer and work with you to get the issue resolved or replaced. I had a transmission issue with an end of model year 2012 Fiesta and got Ford Customer Service...
If it is a priority 2 then that is the case. However, the dealer can change the priority of the order to a 10 and then it will allow them to make the change. Mine was able to do that when I wanted to delete some items so that I could get scheduled. Once they changed the priority code, they...
