  1. My ford dealership rewards my patience with a nice surprise!

Yes and he placed three separate orders, the OP only placed the one so the dealer is telling him that he can't have the two trucks for one order.
  2. Hybrid production has been completely stopped for 2022 Mavericks, per my dealer

Find a dealer with a high ADM and take all of those nickels to pay for the ADM and use the 0% for the MSRP and try to see how fast the ADM gets dropped. 🤣
  3. VELOCITY BLUE Maverick Photos Thread

Stainless steel and black raised letters from Ford.
  4. After 7-1/2 Months My Lariat Deluxe Has Arrived !

The wife never had a fully maxed out vehicle before so I pulled all of the stops out for her on this one. She has been going out and buying some "bling" for the interior. She was especially happy when I showed her the under seat storage in the rear - I just told her that I didn't want to know. 🤷‍♂️
  5. After 7-1/2 Months My Lariat Deluxe Has Arrived !

After placing my original order on June 10th, two build date bumps, and a chip hold delay my Velocity Blue Lariat Deluxe with a 2.0L EcoBoost, 4K Tow Package, FX4 Off Road Package, Moon Roof, Full Size Spare, Hard Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover, Co-Pilot 360, Bed Mat, Window Air Deflectors, Gatorback...
  6. My XLT maverick order

Your order number is listed on the window sticker under Item# and is the first four characters after the dash.
  7. Dealership playing games?

There are some conflicting things in his message. If he did get a build date email then yes the ROVP was completed. He also stated that the dealer was asking for a copy of his drivers license and the signed bill sheet. Can't do the ROVP without them and if they didn't already have it, I don't...
  8. Dealership called wanting to move order to MY23

No more orders can be placed after today, but the dealership has until February 2nd to complete the ROVP process.
  9. Dealership playing games?

If you ordered a hybrid and they didn't get your drivers license from you when you ordered and completed the ROVP process before the November 15th cut-off , then your vehicle will not be built. However, if it's an Ecoboost than they only have until February 2nd to complete the process, since...
  10. Another dealer saying no more hybrids are being built...

The only ones that can confirm that the ROVP was accepted is the dealer you ordered from and that was also stated by Tim Bartz in this past Tuesday webcast.
  11. Yep, that's right -35 degrees (-31°F)

I retired after 26 years and I am picking up my new Maverick this afternoon. However my salesperson advised me that Ford won't accept my Military discount along with my First Responder discount and they lowered it from $1500 to $500 as well. Guess Ford doesn't care too much about those that have...
  12. Tracking my truck while its being shipped

The rail car number is on the vehicle visibility report and any sales person can get it and give to you, they just have to look. My salesrep gave me my rail car number as soon as I requested it and I was able to track its movement from the time it left Hermosillo on 01/06, through customs at...
  13. United Transportation Cancellation

Wife was on her way to work early this morning (6am) and was passing the dealership and noticed a car carrier sitting out in front with a Velocity Blue Maverick still on it. I called my salesperson when they opened and asked him if that was my Maverick that was being delivered. He went and...
  14. Average time from In-Production to Built ?

There are reasons that they have been "In Production" for long periods of time and it is NOT normal. They include Chip Shortages in November, a seat belt recall, and the fuel tank recall - all will prevent the delivery of the vehicle and prevent it from going into "Built" and "Shipped" status...
  15. Average time from In-Production to Built ?

Yes and they are not the average. Mine was "In Production" from its 11/29 Production date to it's 12/06 build date at the factory and then it had the "Chip Hold" status. It still only took seven days to build it. It then waited until it was off chip hold on 12/27 to get the SIBL done on 12/28...
  16. Average time from In-Production to Built ?

As long as there are no chip shortages, the average is 7 to 10 days. If your order includes a SIBL, that could add up to 2 weeks.
  17. Ford Pass now shows my Maverick XLT Hybrid with activation pending....

That means that all of the chips that are installed in the vehicle are now live. You can verify that it is indeed built by checking the Ford ETIS website - https://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do and the AsBuilt website - https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt/
  18. Was your Maverick delivered during estimated delivery window?

My original order was placed in June when order banks opened. Latest ETA was originally 01/15 then last week it was changed to 02/06. My Maverick has been sitting at the auto ramp for the past week waiting to travel the last 36 miles to the dealership. Original scheduled production date was...
  19. Shipping my Maverick

Yes I've called the 800 number and all I was able to get is that it is enroute to the dealer. Fortunately it does NOT fall into the dates of the fuel tank recall. It was built on 12/07 and then went into Chip Hold until 12/24 and then didn't have the SIBL installed until 12/28 and was finally...
