It's taken a while for me to get used to reaching down to the dial shifter instead of grabbing on to the lever on the steering column. You have to remember I was driving a 1990 Silverado before the Maverick.
I've gotten to the point where I don't do it every time. Maybe once or twice a week now.
There's a recall on my Mustang for the backup camera. But instead of being told go to your dealer to get it fixed, Ford is telling us to wait until they have enough cameras in stock to replace them.
And the resolution on the camera for that car is about the same as for the Maverick. If there's...
No thanks. I'm going to drive like I drive and if I lose a mile or two per gallon, so be it. I'm not babying this truck just so I can say I got x mpg woo hoo!
I got flagged around two dozen times by the Journeys nanny on my last drive and I still got over 50 mpg. That's fine by me.
I haven't noticed anything strange with the brakes. They take a little getting used to, but that's always the case with a new vehicle. People have posted that they seem really sensitive, but I don't think so.
Agreed. I step on the gas to go and it goes. I don't know how the CVT works and I don't care. What I do care about is that the truck gets up to speed quickly and it does it with good gas mileage.
If you curl up in the fetal position, you should be able to sleep in the bed. I would recommend you not do that with a spray in liner, however. That might be uncomfortable.
With a bed mat, or the carpeting that someone else did, I think that would work.
Just don't get the truck stolen while...
The spray in bed liner was the only factory option I added to my purchase. Having had a truck without that bed liner, I saw what even light duty did to the bed. There was no way I was going to do that to a new truck.
It was one of the constraints, which meant I had to wait eight months for my...
Same here. One of the things that kept me from reserving the electric F-150 is that there's no place to charge it in the garage where it would go.
That and it being way more truck than I need and a pain in the ass to park. And costing twice as much as the Maverick I got.
I mean, this is exactly why I bought the Maverick. It's an inexpensive work truck for businesses who don't need the hauling capacity of a mid or full size truck.
Sigh. Here we go again.
The Maverick has as much payload capacity as the "real" truck it replaced. It also can tow more than that truck.
So yeah, if it makes someone feel like they're a big man to say that the truck is cute and little, go right ahead. Hey, maybe they can even pee standing up...
As you can see, I've gone 100 miles and around four and a half hours in the truck. The first 22 miles were for dealer prep and the test drive.
Thus far, the truck has been everything I wanted from it. It is good at what I bought it for. The bed is large enough for me to do my three time a...
It's because the water finally warms up and we lose the cooling effect it has when it's cooler in the early summer.
