It's plastic, you're in Florida, the difference in how the plastic liner and metal bed react to heat is what caused that. Usually after temps cool it should contract back to it's original shape.

This is a K.I.S.S. type of issue.
Doesn't start:
1. Check that battery.
2. Battery good/ jump start the truck then check the charging.
3 First two are good, then check for something drawing power when off.
FFS they're a high strength metric bolt, probably something in the #10 spec grade. They've been around since the auto industry switched to metric fasteners.
