looks great, but based on those pictures it might look even better with wheel spacers or wheels with more offset to fill out those big flares
EDIT: fronts look OK but the rears look a bit lost inside the flares
Can you open your (tri-fold?) tonneau with this installed? Looks like it's tall enough to open a hard roll-up but I can't figure out how a folding tonneau would open
How big is your boat? F450 is a commercial truck, the guy who hauled our 37' "only" had an F350
Unless you're hauling all the time, or you can justify it as business expense it makes more sense just to pay someone to haul it around.
85k plus taxes tied up + depreciation + maintenance +...
A 3d printed plastic mount is OK under the latched rear seat, where the extinguisher can't fly out during an impact / rollover situation.
Anywhere inside the cabin you need a mount made of ductile metal, which can't break and let the extinguisher bounce around inside the cabin in a crash...
I didn't watch till the end, but the method I used on cars ranging from a Honda HRV to an Audi Q7 is to unplug the electrical connector then use a 9 volt battery and some jumper wires with alligator clips.
You connect the + and - from the battery to the leads and watch what the piston does -...
there are sellers on Ebay or Etsy that offer harnesses to get a 12v or USB-C output out of the wiring in the upper windshield camera housing. Would be an easy plug & play ...
(This might be a Lariat-only thing, I'm not sure if BLIS + trailer is available on other trim levels)
On my 2025 Lariat with 4k tow, I created a trailer and entered its length in the center screen.
Then I selected that trailer as active after plugging it into the connector.
In that situation...
Hey, I need help.
I always had older cars but discovered how great wireless Android Auto is because of the Maverick
To get that convenience in my old car, I bought a single-DIN Android Auto & Carplay deck on AliExpress for about $65. I wasn't expecting much but I tried it on the workbench and...
Same here ... No wind noise, no rattles, no issues at all except the CRACK noise from the center armrest in cold weather
If you're worried about breaking a door clip, remember that you're not working on some super obscure old car where replacement parts are unobtanium ... anything you break...
OMFG ... $13k USD for a literal fender bender ??!!!
For reference, got a front door and front fender replaced on ours (with brand new OEM parts) by the Ford dealer for 5k CAD which is about $3700 USD at current exchange rate
I can't figure out where the extra 10k went for this repair
Yeah the hate for start-stop kinda puzzles me. I never had an ICE car with that system, but I love how the hybrid isn't wasting fuel by idling all the time at lights or in traffic
Maybe the system doesn't work so well on the EcoBoost and that's why ppl hate it 🤷🏻
just checked, ours already has those foam squares but they look mangled - maybe that's why it started making noise all of a sudden. I'll replace them when it warms up to see if the cracking sound goes away
PS: edited to add that the OEM foam squares look just as ghetto as the ones they added to...
wow that fix looks super ghetto :cwl: but I've got similar foam so I'll give it a try. Thanks for the pictures
PS I see they also adjusted your tonneau : if you've got the OEM hard roll-up it's really easy to adjust it the way you like ... just loosen the 4 nuts holding the front part, unroll...
Everyone replying "yes" so far is from the North, and @Cancunbadlands doesn't seem to know what we're talking about. I guess the cracking noise only happens when it's cold, as described by @BLUEOVALRACER 🤔
