I called a dealership parts department yesterday and the guy couldn't find anything in the database regarding Perimeter Plus and the 2025 Mav. He even used my VIN to check. I'm just going to wait until someone confirms or Ford updates their database.

I'd definitely ask them to take a look at the airbag. This could be something dangerous.

Is there any clearance at all between the bed extender and the flexbed covers? Wondering if you could use something like this to get around the limited space?

In some states, if they can't be repaired within a reasonable amount of time, they get totalled. I think that was happening a lot during Covid. Good luck!
