You're getting pretty heavy into boost which on a turbocharged vehicle you may as well just dump fuel out of your gas tank. If you're racing from stop light to stop light that will happen. I do about 90% around town driving and I'm averaging in the high 20s. The one highway trip I've taken I...
There's a thread here that shows what parts to buy from Ford that are direct fit to add the power lock on your XL, so much easier to do it with plug and play factory parts. Just do a search for it.
No worries, that works too but I really think it's just a matter of programming for that specific switch since the other guy got it working and I seem to remember the being a difference since it had the adaptive cruise buttons.
Yeah that's what my wife has in her escape with adaptive and the left switch is different so I'm guessing that's your issue but I don't know for sure if there are different hex codes for that switch. It would make sense why you're only getting it with the left switch. I believe if I remember...
Hmm, so it has adaptive cruise then and the switches are different. I wonder if there are different codes for those switches? Maybe codes from a Lariat lux? Anyone else able to chime in?
Did you clear the DTCs and try again? I think I had a similar message when I first tried. Try clearing the DTCs if you haven't. I think that happens when you first hook up the wheel before changing the values with forscan
The likelihood of two year old switches being bad is pretty low. Is there any physical damage to them? I'm not trying to be crass but most likely it's a programming error in Forscan. What trim escape did your wheel come out of?
No buffering here, kicks in as soon as it goes into reverse and shows everything real time but having owned many ford products they don't exactly have the best track record with backup cameras. They have historically been very prone to getting water in their connectors causing issues like you...
Are you tracking it on your own? Once it reaches the rail yard you should be able to track it on your own with United Road or your Ford tracker should stay it's still in shipping.
The story still doesn't make sense, if the deposit was returned it was by the dealer, not Ford. Ford has nothing to do with a deposit on a Maverick. Your sales person as well as whoever they spoke with at the larger dealer are both uninformed. Ford has said they will most likely build all 2022...
I don't believe Sirius comes standard on any trim, just on Lariat with Lux package. You can however use the Sirius app on android auto or maybe carplay, I don't use apple products so not sure
This makes zero sense, you did not place a deposit with Ford, you placed a deposit with your dealership. Ford has nothing to do with a deposit, an order is placed in the system without the need for any deposit. Sounds like your sales person is just making stuff up.
Personally I would change out those countersunk style bolts for a proper buttonhead bolt or something along those lines. I believe you're compromising the retention hold of the unit itself due to the fact that there is very little surface contact between the bolt head and the anchor. Shouldn't...
I also had delays going to Chapman in PA, apparently most of their vehicles get routed through another rail head so mine "got lost in the system" and I waited over 2 weeks to get from Wilmington to Chapman.
As for the OVISS login, it's been quite a while since I registered and I'm not sure...
