Sirius/XM sound quality has always been awful. I was an early adopter and still used it up until a few years ago when I started using Android Auto with spotify and I never knew how absolutely terrible the satellite radio quality was until then. I'll never go back.
I would imagine it's going to be full of error codes as it looks for and fails to find signal feedback from the electronic brake booster. Kudos for trying but good luck....
Not all oils are created equal especially in a relatively high compression turbocharged motor like the Ecoboost the op said they have. Some oils have a higher flash point, every motor operates different and some oils are much better suited to certain motors. The only way to find out is to get a...
If you really want to get technical the Maverick XL already comes from the factory programmed for cruise control. You just need to add the OEM switches and turn it on with Forscan so essentially, yes, it's factory cruise control. I don't understand why people get bent out of shape about this.
Yes, Wix makes a good product but the most important detail to consider with aftermarket oil filters is the bypass valve spec. Ford specs their oil filter with a very specific bypass pressure for the Ecoboost and since WIX is making a filter that could potentially fit many applications they may...
Different people have different driving habits and not all driving environments are the same. Louisiana is not getting regular snowfall which requires sanding the roads, that sand inevitable also includes rocks and plows going by in the opposite direction are also flinging rocks and stones in...
I'm not sure about that, there's the cubby and then on the PAX side there's a plastic shield (looks like a box from under the truck) that keeps mud and debris from flying into the tail lights like it does on the driver side. I have an XL, no cubby and I can see the "plastic box" looking thing...
I think there was an early batch of these with mismatched hood struts, one took significantly more pressure to close the strut and it was causing problem with the hood opening. I would send an email to MRT direct and let them know you're having an issue, it seems like they took care of everyone...
Absolute do not drop it. Your dealer doesn't know anything. I'm only just starting to see Oct Hybrid orders getting scheduled but that's a good sign for you. First of all, CP360 is an amazing option, the safety benefits alone are worth it but keep in mind that the reduction on insurance premium...
Unfortunately it's not a resonator. The exhaust connects to the manifold/primary cat and includes the mufflers and the secondary Cat. List price is over $1100
There are two catalytic converters, a primary and a secondary, the secondary is completely exposed and the FX4 plates will not prevent anyone from stealing it. A member here has already had his secondary cat exposed and I think he said it was a $900 replacement part
It's a tri-fold so it's split into three panels and folds over and does block the entire rear window when completely folded open. A lock would almost be pointless since you could tear through the soft material super easily but you can at least secure it closed with latches.
My father has the same build but order date of Jan 9th and he is still waiting. Recently it was placed into priority code 2 though so it might be a good sign for you. Posting for him since he's in his 80s and doesn't "use the google" as he says.
Based on Ford customer service telling him at one point that it was a Lariat build I think the order number thing is more feasible. We have seen it here before as well where there were multiple vehicles ordered under the same order number.
