I saw that someone on Reddit had used the plastidip hyperdip wheel kit to change these to what appears to be a dark bronze and added 235/65r18 Toyo AT3 tires and they look really really good. Good luck with the sale.
I'm going to assume that your dealership ordered multiple vehicles under the same order number, that happens. It could be that your Lariat build is still in the pipeline to be built or in a more unfortunate scenario has already been built and was sold as dealer stock. I highly doubt Ford...
Same, I'm not into mods or off roading but a lift on this would sure help out with groud clearance during big snowstorms and I would only want to do a spring kit from a company like Eibach or H&R who's products I trust.
They're going for the sport truck, why not get the higher gear ratio of the 4k package along with the trans cooler and beefier cooling system especially if they're going to be putting more power through the trans. Makes sense. Also, the eco awd with the 4k is apparently the quickest Maverick.
Was it a prediction? Didn't they pretty much tailor the orders to their "prediction" by cutting off orders? Sounds more like it was their production intent all along and they turned off the order bank for hybrid and eco when they hit their numbers
This stinks but I don't understand why people take a chance and leave their Maverick sitting at the lot. I guess let this be a lesson to other people, go pick it up as soon as it hits the dealer lot. There's too much temptation out there for dealers to sell with a significant markup. Tell your...
I have a leveling kit on my F150 and had a wheel bearing get noisy at 18,000 miles, the dealership didn't say a thing about the leveling kit when they replaced the wheel bearing under warranty but by some poster's logic here it should have been denied which would have been ridiculous. It sounds...
it's definitely there if you enlarge the photo. You're most likely right that it's a fleet vehicle (Servepro) but the word Maverick is there, that's a stamped steel piece and that press stamp is super expensive to make, I doubt they're going to make one without the work Maverick on it.
This is actually not at all correct information. A company cannot just "void" a warranty based on a modification. That isn't how it works. I suggest looking into the magnuson-moss warranty act. Manufacturers have to PROVE that the modification caused the failure, the onus is on the manufacturer...
OP have you actually seen the parts? We had another member here who's dealer said their CV boot was leaking and it was just the grease they put on the wheel hub bore from the factory.
In Maine they are allowed up to $499 which every dealer charges, it's a completely BS fee but thankfully x-plan limited it to $100 for me. If you ever buy another Ford definitely look into x-plan eligibility.
I had the same issue but it was only the front driver door, all the other doors closed with a reasonable amount of force but the driver door took significantly more force to close so I don't think it's the pressure vent. Just something about that door or the seals around it, after a few months...
