I’ve made a habit of cutting it off as soon as I put it in gear. I don’t even think about it anymore, just do it. I think does way more harm than good.

This may have been brought up already, and while I really like the ACC and it’s features it’s incredibly annoying when some cars will creep over into your lane and it obviously causes the truck brake rather abruptly. I usually just turn it off quickly to avoid the slamming of the brakes lol.

What was “found” and fixed? I assumed it was drivetrain related since turning traction control off eliminated the noise.

Mine does it too. Sometimes more noticeable than others, not sure what disengages when you turn traction control off but that does eliminate it when you do. I don’t drive the truck very often so I haven’t taken it to the dealer for any feedback. I assumed they’d say it’s normal like anything...

Mine does this. Only during the colder months though, truck still runs fine and warms up so I don’t pay much attention to it.

I was in the same boat when I ordered mine. I opted for the fx4 package instead just because I don’t tow anything other than a lawnmower trailer maybe a handful of times a year. I also wanted a moonroof, it definitely can’t hurt to add it and would give you that option down the road if need be...

Just out of curiosity, what’s everybody getting for their top off miles? I’ve noticed mine are all over the place, it’s been anywhere from 440-375. Any idea why such a wide range? Filled up yesterday and it said 380. Just seems odd, you’d think it would be roughly the same every time.

I think every EB has this issue. Some say putting 93 octane in will help but I tried that and it didn’t make a difference really. As mentioned you can try driving in tow/haul if you think you’ll be doing a lot of 30-40mph driving, can always change back to normal on the highway.

Do all the Mavs not come with the button on the console to stop this feature? If not I get the need to want the eliminator, and I may be in the minority here but I’ll save my 100 bucks and just hit the button when I get in. To each their own though 👌🏼

I’m old school, this is my first vehicle ever with a back up camera and I still haven’t or can’t get used to it. I still use rear views and look out the back glass. Just hard for me to trust it lol
