This was a massive fail on Fords end not having fog lights on these trucks, it’s definitely one of my biggest complaints. I know you can buy aftermarket but it’s just silly they didn’t offer it

Welcome! Really nice truck with good options. Tow package is good to have even if you don’t plan on towing. Enjoy the truck. You made the right decision on this body style. The 25 front end was a deal breaker for me too.

Agreed, ever since I’ve had my truck and I tell them it’s a Maverick they say ohh yea kinda like the movie Top Gun. I think more people relate it to the movie than a horse. Not being a stick in the mud, just my two cents. I like the idea though. Maybe naval aviator magnets for the tailgate? lol

I’d love to know how yours doesn’t leak, with the design of the Mav I don’t know how it can’t leak “some”. I have the hard fri fold from ford and it leaks a decent amount in certain areas.

One of life’s greatest mysteries why they didn’t at least offer a package that included fog lights. They look great, huge L for Ford not offering fogs for the Mav.

I’m not giving up my beloved cubby

I have the ford hard tri fold and it leaks up at the cab and at the tailgate, I think 99 percent of it is due to it being unibody design. Water has no where to go when it get in between the cover and the back glass. I’ve kinda just accepted it.

I’d go to Costco but the closest one to me depending on the time of day is 30-45 mins away and it’s usually 20 cars deep. I downloaded the Upside app and get cash back on fill ups.

To each their own but seeing the 25s makes me like my 24 even more than I already do, think the front end is hideous. I also can’t figure out why there’s no option for fog lights on one other than the LOBO, or did I miss something?

I haven’t had a chance to really read over it but what exactly does the LoBo have that justifies the price? Didn’t sound like there was hardly any performance upgrades. Maybe I’m wrong though

Cant argue that, the Mavs light comes on at 50 miles to E which is give or take a couple gallons left in the tank. You would think that would be plenty not to burn up the pump but who knows. Very understandable though you not waiting.
