  1. Finally bought one. 2025 tremor

Thanks! For others who add the tailgate strut and would like to replace the tailgate tie down bracket that had to be removed to fit the assist strut, here's what I make and offer for sale: Works well and clears the new strut and no issues with the cable. And made in the USA. I have a thread...
  2. Question on steering wheel swap install, swapping 24XL with 25Lobo

Reading the link above, it sounds pretty involved. I did it, but I did not care about wiring/enabling the heated part of the new wheel. Pretty simple if you don't need that. Here's my write-up from my build thread from when I did the swap.
  3. Black ford emblems front and back

I blacked out mine with a spraycan of Plasti Dip for about $7. Was easy as pie. More info in this post in my build thread (full thread here).
  4. Wisconsin Tailgate Tie Down Bracket, Clears Tailgate Assist Strut

I'm only able to ship within the US at this time. Thanks for the interest!
  5. Extras

Yeah, bedliner feels like a necessity otherwise every scratch on the fresh paint in the bed hurts. Covering the tailgate hole was one of the first things I did so leaves, grass, gravel, etc. don't get in. Just used a piece of siliconed window screen, info here. But then went further to add a...
  6. Drivers door locks on its own

I've had the locking happen to me more than once, and I'm pretty sure it occured 2 ways. Regardless, the accidental door locking due to the design/layout of the controls bugged me so I did something about it. When gripping the door lever and opening the door, the side of your hand can...
  7. Driver's door locks automatically on exiting

This has happened to me too, more than once, until I got super aggravated at the repeated accidental door locking due to the design/layout of the controls. When gripping the door lever and opening the door, the side of your hand can accidentally push in the mechanical lock lever and a fingertip...
  8. Wisconsin Lock Guard - Solution for Accidental Door Locking

Just wanted to mention - in their current state, these install on the driver's door only and cannot be installed on the passenger door. If anyone would like a set for the passenger side, let me know and I'll look into printing a reversed set for that side.
  9. Car locked me out with keys inside

Thanks @Glen Baker LLC - yes, that's me. I'D HAD IT with the accidental door locking due to the design/layout of the controls. When gripping the door lever and opening the door, the side of your hand can accidentally push in the mechanical lock lever and a fingertip can accidentally press the...
  10. 2024 Maverick XLT Build

Gene - I love the contrast of the white & black. Looks really good. Adding the tailgate assist shouldn't mean losing a tie down point. I made a replacement tie-down for mine. Works well and clears the new assist strut and no issues with the cable. Enjoyed making it enough that I keep...
  11. 2024 Lariat Tremor HPR

The tie down bracket I make is listed here. There is a link in my signature below as well.
  12. 2025 East Coast Lariat Build

Looking good. I have a Truxedo Pro X15 and love it, boy do their covers look sharp. Adding the tailgate assist shouldn't mean losing a tie down point. I made a replacement tie-down for mine. Works well and clears the new strut and no issues with the cable. Enjoyed making it enough that I...
  13. 2024 Lariat Tremor HPR

Correct. But my bracket is only a tie-down point and does not function as a bottle opener. You'll have to walk around to the passenger side of the tailgate if you want to crack one open.
  14. 2024 Lariat Tremor HPR

That pic is missing something! Adding the strut shouldn't mean losing a tie-down point. I made a replacement tie-down for mine. Works well and clears the new strut and no issues with the cable. Enjoyed making it enough that I keep making more. I have a thread here in the For Sale forum if...

  16. Mabett Fender Flares... worth it

Robert - something is missing in this pic. Adding the strut shouldn't mean losing a tie-down point. I made a replacement tie-down for mine. Works well and clears the new strut and no issues with the cable. Enjoyed making it enough that I keep making more. I have a thread...
  17. Suggestions for removing residue from the dash

To add to my original post.... Just bought a hat, removed the sticker and it left adhesive behind. Thirty seconds with a piece of duct tape and it pulls it all right off that fabric. Works awesome for this purpose. If duct tape was around in the middle ages they would have accused it of...
  18. No More Black Wheels

I have always thought black wheels look like cars used to when they were missing a hubcap. I realize that might be showing my age. The black hides the detail and just doesn't look as good. But then again, silver seems so played out from decades of it that a change is nice. I went with a...

Benjamin - something looks to be missing now. Adding the strut shouldn't mean losing a tie-down point. I made a replacement tie-down for mine. Works well and clears the new strut and no issues with the cable. Enjoyed making it enough that I keep making...
