I thought the knob without the temp# would bug me more. A week in, it doesn't bug me much. Note all of my prior daily drivers for the last decade *have* had visible-at-rest temp readouts, but honestly, I've always thought they were somewhat meaningless. 70° was not always 70° in any of the...
I'm 5'9" or a touch over, and I doubt an inch would make much difference with the viewing angle. Dang. Not to mention most of my friends who will be getting stuff in/out of my truck are taller than me...
I guess I need to wait till A.R.E. releases a cap with a bump (MX line?) or the west coast...
Based on all the rear view commentary with a topper on, since I picked up my Maverick, I just don't use the rear window/mirror. Visibility is horrid out of it anyway, compared to any car I've had before.
If you don't mind, how tall are you?
Definitely can, but should also be able to get it in stock Jeep matte black, at no extra cost. The dealer I spoke to says he does that regularly for other models.
My dealer told me 20wks - probably to make me not get upset about it being even longer. I think he said $1750, but apparently I didn't write it down which is odd... He probably said $1950.
You can get it in any A.R.E. paint code you want, which is good, being Leer on the west coast will only do...
My dealer wanted to sell me an extended warranty for 5yrs/60k (when I said I drive at most 10k a year, and probably more like 8k or less) for $14,000 (including interest). Pretty impressive. If the Maverick has $14K of non-factory-warrany issues by the time it is 5yrs/60k old, I will eat my words.
So I found a dealer who thought he could order matte black (a factory Jeep color). He placed the order, and the order got cancelled. He called and they said they're only doing OEM Ford colors. He thinks its a plant-by-plant decision, so more likely than not no one on the west coast can order...
Well my dealer "found" the cash rebate and will accept it - but my login info doesn't work on the Ford Farm Bureau site, and their customer support looked me up and I'm not in the system yet. I wonder how long it takes for Washington to sync me over... My truck arrived today (3wks early), so I'm...
Hyundai would pay for that tow dolly. They know their dealers are short staffed right now. (I was SHOCKED to find that out when I got a rental car comp'd for 3mo.)
I hope Ford takes care of you.
You definitely don't want to publicly post your email...It'll get you on even more spam lists than...
Depending on trip range and such, you'll love an electric. It's freaking amazing paying a fraction of the cost to fuel and only having to go to a "gas station" when on road trips.
For me, it was about a week total. But the timeline showed a header of "In production" for that time (6/18-23, scheduled build week of 6/20), and then it showed a date under "in production" on 6/23, and a date under Built on 6/24.
