My dealer wanted to sell me an extended warranty for 5yrs/60k (when I said I drive at most 10k a year, and probably more like 8k or less) for $14,000 (including interest). Pretty impressive. If the Maverick has $14K of non-factory-warrany issues by the time it is 5yrs/60k old, I will eat my words.

Depending on trip range and such, you'll love an electric. It's freaking amazing paying a fraction of the cost to fuel and only having to go to a "gas station" when on road trips.
