  1. 2.0 EB Transmission just said goodbye

It's completely unacceptable, but very common right now. It took 2wks to get my Hyundai looked at in December (another dealer, the one I bought from, said 5wks..), then 5wks to order the wrong parts... Almost 3mo with an unusable car in total. But Hyundai paid for a rental for the whole time.
  2. Thinking about selling 2022 & ordering a 2023

I hear you, but your complaint should be directed to Ford for their abysmal order allocation and manufacturing process.
  3. 2.0 EB Transmission just said goodbye

Wow that's not good news. My AWD EB feels pretty funny backing up my very steep driveway sometimes. I wonder what it's going to feel like in 10k-mi, or 50k-mi...
  4. Thinking about selling 2022 & ordering a 2023

I picked up my Maverick in the middle of last month, and I am thinking about ordering a 2023 (from a different dealer) and selling my 2022. There are a ton of paint issues: dust in the color/clear. It needs 4 panels repainted under warranty, which are NBD except I don't really want to have...
  5. 📊 Maverick Order Tracking List & Stats [Enter Yours!]

You probably should have called other dealers to see what deposits others are taking. It might be a month of wait, or 12. Random luck there.
  6. Auto dim rear view mirror Install tip to remove center console with sunroof

Thanks for this. My upper panel came out extremely easily with your pictures.
  7. Has anyone tried OpenPilot on the Maverick?

Overall, you're definitely not wrong. That said, BMW and MBZ are successfully encrypted and have been for years. Hyundai's new encrypted stuff isn't that encrypted (or maybe an insider leaked some critical info).
  8. Has anyone tried OpenPilot on the Maverick?

Edit: OpenPilot is not a L3 system, it's an L2 system that is damn good. The driver must remain alert and ready to take over at any time. ESPECIALLY for a brand new port like the Maverick. I did grow very comfortable with the system on my Ioniq, but I was *more* alert driving with it than...
  9. Window Shades for Maverick

    How do you like it?
  10. On hold for chip!

Oh, OK. I saw your location as Puyallup which meant it'd go through the PDX yard, which had major theft last quarter.
  11. On hold for chip!

I wonder if yours was one that got its cat cut out?
  12. 2023 Maverick Technical Specifications posted [PDF]

I hope the 2024 gets a HEV AWD option.
  13. My Carvana Offer

Driveway paid the most for my Hyundai Ioniq. It varies day to day for each company too.
  14. ARE V series topper - thoughts?

OTR is an add-on for a few hundred bucks. There is a factory Jeep "paint" that is a less-durable OTR and looks great. What paint code that is, I don't know.
  15. ARE V series topper - thoughts?

You buy from a local dealer. You can find one here: https://www.4are.com/build/?ref=Local Yes it'll have a wiring harness that connects to the left tail light. You can see the harness in the photos in post #18.
  16. ARE V series topper - thoughts?

I think slightly textured matte black (it's a Jeep color) would be perfect. And maybe single piece windows, though I do want venting for when the doggo is back there on mild days (On hot or cold days he'll be in the cab, on field day's he'll be in an insulated crate in the bed).
  17. Spare tire: Falken Wildpeak tires

Good luck buying a 63 profile sidewall :D
  18. Ford tire size configuration / recalibration for larger tires?

Has anyone been able to successfully recalibrate the tire size?
  19. Bit the bullet and ordered the Leer Snug Top

Yeah that looks great! I thought it was pretty close from looking at the dog sitters Jeep, but my Mav was 50ft away so not quite a direct comparison.
  20. Bit the bullet and ordered the Leer Snug Top

My dog sitter has a Gladiator and she got a Leer since I last saw her truck. It's in the textured matte black and looks fantastic, even better than in your pictures, which I already really like. I reallllly wish west coast Leer would sell that for the Mav!
