When looking up a product, the manufactures site is normally a better resource. Amazon's site is just such trash to use... Don't get me wrong, I buy from them all the time, but I hate using the site.
Buying, yeah, variable; and if the mfg is unknown, I'm probably not buying straight from their...
I've never looked these up before, interesting. (First google link for the togaurd - I've yet to do any research and probably won't lol - https://www.toguardshop.com/products/toguard-ce70-12-2-5k-mirror-dual-lens-dash-camera-touch-screen-front-for-cars-backup-camera)
I'm sure this is the case. However, it is still listed in a ton of late-model vehicles manuals (newer than the 22 Mav at least) and seeing how easy it is, I did it anyway.
After finding the leak today I found a bunch of threads about it too… I hope it’s fixable as I’m keeping my Mav long term. I’m a little surprise d I didn’t find it till now ~29mo in, PNW, lots of rain…however I never flip the back seat forward in the rain because my dogs crate is on the back...
Hey George, how’s your window leak doing this winter? I just discovered my 2022 is leaking… I assume it’s done it since new but I guess I’ve never had the back seat forward when it was raining before. Looks to be the same leak and I’m debating making an appointment or not…
My AT3W’s are at 33k-mi and 9-10/32” all around - they started life at 14/32. They’re loud and fuel inefficient* but I’m quite happy with their performance.
*I don’t have any pre-tire data to compare with as I swapped them with around 150mi on the odometer, but the MPG is much worse than folk...
That's what my dad said. Then he got a car with ACC and used it a lot.
Cruise control <> Adaptive cruise control.
You might try being open minded and giving it a shot if you have it in a rental or a friends car.
Sounds like someone who hasn't used ACC. ;) (Emergency braking is annoying but -my- Maverick is fine with it... a 2015 Forester I used to daily drive was -not-, it was really bad, it would slam the brakes on needlessly all the time...)
With your silver wheels and dark tint I bet you could go either way with the tailgate lettering, though I’d probably still go black. The Mav has a lot of black trim. But that’s just me, I find black accents easier.
Oh right the Kia mirror - I did that too, and ran a wire to the fuse box. It’s...
I’ve had my Mav for ~32k and a bit over two years, I’m a huge fan of it. I tow a little, but I use the bed all the time and it’s really fantastic. I can also have 4 adults in the car for extended trips in comfort, or two plus my dog crate (and three if needed…but it’s a little tight next to the...
Looks really nice @FutureBoss !
It was an option on 2021 orders. I considered it but I wanted black wheels to go with the black tint and trim on my red/orange truck. On other colors I think the silver looks much nicer though (like @FutureBoss's).
Maybe it's because of the 8yr/80k federally required warranty, so the finance guy probably tells you its NBD if someone event notices.
However, I agree, it should be covered vs called routine maintenance and not covered due to that. (I have still-well-performing cats on my 30yo BMW that has...
Ah the 2.7tt... I spent a lot of time working on those (and the associated vehicles) when I was a mechanic at a German indy shop. Everything was freaking EXPENSIVE and a pain in the ass to work on, but at least the book hours paid well (and I could meet them my first time through). I felt a...
